Now, that's a harsh word to describe. You weren't forced to join the company, were you? And besides, there really is a product movement. It's really up to the member, really, if he would maximize his earnings thru inviting members. After all, that is really the essence of networking. Hence, networking. Unless there's something wrong with the products I'd daresay nailad jud ka. But no.

Just think of the scenario na you were selling product packs with a lot of perks attached to it. Do you think nangilad ka ana. Absolutely NO!
Pero, i don't know if you are not familiar with the different ads in the TV. All these try hard to capture the viewers attention. I don't know there's a different with that of a networking.

o naa diay? like what man sa coca-cola and nokia?

of course i was not forced, nobody has the right to force anyone. up to the member lagi to recruit or sell, but from the seminar, it's the "recruiting" that was emphasized. now u couldn't deny this. ingon man gani tong speaker na "kung ako papilion, manginvite ko,di kaayo ko anang sales". saun.

sure, the ads try to capture the viewer's attention, that's what advertising is for isn't it. but the ads don't ask u to invite two people to be ur downlines, whateve u call it. and ask u pay up 6000 before u can even sell.

    peace everyone!

this is a very interesting topic indeed. and i praise Lordzarkhan for starting this thread. I'm not into any Networking company as we speak. and frankly, i have serious doubts about these companies. But nevertheless, we are here to help each other and not to fight. Istoryans are peacelovers and we should continue to make that a habit.

to those are already part of this companies, i wish you luck and hope you're companies are really doing there part to help you. and i hope you can encouraged people to join you in your quest for a better future.

for those who haven't joined any Networking schemes, pls be careful on Investing your money on this. I have been invited several times coz I have a lot of friends who are already into it . Some you barely knew and havent talked to for years and suddenly, "bahm!" txting and calling you encouraging you to join them. I hope you dont get the feeling of being avoided by people coz that's what happened to a few of my friends.

this is my personal opinion, If you are selling a good product, you don't need to sell them through pyramiding and networking. Some products like "LactoPaffi" didnt used any pyramiding scheme just to be succesful.. it became huge coz people believed in it, and saw its potential as an Alternative Medicine. These companies are living through recruitment and yes, sacrificing there own product lines. I've seen some of the products that are being sold tru networking, they are obviously overpriced, and nevermind the quality.

we are not here to backbite these companies, we are here to educate our fellow istoryans and frankly speaking, i hope these companies would concentrate more on their products, and stop adding misery to our already losing economy.

    PEACE everyone!! Enjoy your weekend!!

I didn't deny anything. Of course it was emphasized. But, emphasizing means not limiting your options. Go find a dictionary; it's not defined that way. It was more likely being highlighted since this was proven to be the most quickest and easiest way of earning. So, it's still the person's choice. If he's going to direct-sell or invite. And i don't think there's something wrong with it. After all, like I mentioned in my above post that this really is what networking is all about, inviting. Hence the word Network.

And asking you to pay 6000 is, in fact, buying the product of our company. You might have forgotten or not familiar with the inclusion of that 6000 then? If you don't I am very much willing to tell you.

Before you to be part of the company you are asked to pay 6k for the product pack (that's what product you want which amounted to up to 5K), plus the insurance, the advantage card, the Id, the rights to be given a portion of the company's website, and the chance to do business, among other things. Surely, with all these, you are not being highway-robbed, are you?

6000 for the product...why? why do u have to buy e.g. travel bags to be able to "sell"? isn't that ironic in itself? if selling was really something they wanted the members to do, not just a pretext to the "recruitment", which they "emphasized". if it wouldn't get them in trouble with DTI, they could have called this 6000 membership fee, and avoid all this ambiguity.

anyway, back to my question..coca-cola and nokia? what about them?

I do believe that in any networking company, for you to be able to be a member you have to buy their products, test them yourself, and/or have them sold. Now, why is that so? I suppose that through this, you have the confidence of the products before you "peddle" them yourselves. And pardon about the info I gave to you, the product pack really only costs only at around 4K, and the remaining are the different inclusions like, among others, the advantage cards, the insurance, the rights.

And the travel bags are one of those products that the company offer.

So, in this case, I have no idea why you people think it's "fishy".

PS: San Miguel is an affiliate of the company, their products include Coca-Cola beverages. It is available at the office. While Nokia latest units are featured in the latest Igen Portal magazine/brochure The Rainy Season.

I have a friend who has a family business of furnitures. Know what, he actually started his own networking company just recently and sell their family business's furnitures through networking. He reasoned that through this new evolution of business system which he calls networking actually saves a lot of money for investors. For one, they don't need to invest millions for advertisements and promotions. And secondly, they give the chance of their consumers to do business and earn themselves. So it's really a win-win solution.
