Mitsubishi Montero v.s Toyota Fortuner

@ TAMBOK ... imo ba lage gibaylo-an ug SORENTO ang FORTUNER kay di ka masigo sa FORTUNER ? HUman nasigo ka sa SORENTO ? Hahaha !! You are only encompassing something that pag slide nimo sa 2nd row na seat NASIGO ka , but it does not jsutify na ROOMY siya where you can still do the BOOTY CLAP .

BTW .... I was in AYALA earlier checking out the BPI madness event . The MONTERO SPORT was there and to start :

- I like the previous body style of the MONTERO SPORT , more boxy and more versatile as an offroad machine .
- The 2009 MOntero Sport shares the fascia at least 85 % with the STRADA . I never liked the STRADA's cosmetics anyways .
- Indeed the LEG ROOM and HEAD ROOM is generously provided for me since I am only 5'9 and 185 lbs . What if , anyone taller than me ? You have to recline the seat to comfortably see the road but you dont want to look like a Mexican in a mid size SUV right ?
- I find the interior classy but some intsruments are way out of hand . Like the CD player , ubos ra kaau ang location as an example , it is hard to operate while driving .


For the record , matod pa ni AJOL , the 2009 TOYOTA FORTUNER does NOT come with a FACTORY STEREO that plays MP3 , CD and DVD and is BLUTOOTH CAPABLE unlike the MONTERO is eqipped with a JVC HEADUNIT . What ? JVC ? What is that ? Minor changes comes with it like front lights and grill , tail lights and a little bit of here and there accessories with a factory 17 inch wheels . BTW ... Mr AJOL , regarding the car audio of the Fort .... you are wrong .

@ SPRINGFIELD_XD_40: yes indeed roomy and fortuner than montero & sorento when your inside pero kung padung ko sud sa cabin maglisod ko saka sa fortuner.. and still i slide nako farthest ang seat sa fortuner so i can sit comfortably nya i recline nako gamay... but with the montero i slide lng nako, and i find montero's seats more comfortable.. para nako lang na hehe

and kung ang road view istoryahan mas nindot ang sa montero sport, responsive ang steering and softer than fortuner's. No problem with the stereo and where it is placed sa anad lang na cya... previous models sa mitsu same place raman ang stereo.. and i find it more comfortable kaysa sa fortuner kay d na kinahanglan mu alsa ka sa imo kamot inig sud nimog cd..

Duty man ko gani sa BPI mas bulky man ang siding sa Rear 2 seat sa Montero. Nindot sad ilang woodpaneling. wala na kaayo ko ni tan-aw ug maayo kay ma ikog ko sa mga ahente sa Mits.

Sa anad raman gyud na tanan. pro asa man mas safe while nag drive ka nya mag sulod ka cd or change channel? mao gyud nang ipasabot nako ni Mr. Ajol. Bati gyud ug nawng ang stereo sa Toyota pro mas dali access kung mag drive ka nya mas dali operate.

I find montero sport targeting the market of Isuzu Altera. Parihas cla naa DVD almost the same LxWxH.

Yes didto ko ganiha . The only thing I prasie for the MONTERO SPORT is the TIPTRONIC TRANNY . Its fun driving it , afterall I used to drive the full size 04 Montero Limited aka the Pajero bisan bug-at considering it is already powered with a 3.5 liter straight 6 engine .

Fortuner stereo is same with Innova.... I said it can play MP3...... try RANDOM.. and Press next track... its not RANDOM ANYMORE..... bug....


if for the 2009 model they changed it... it only confirms the bugs and previous buyers WERE FLEECED by toyota

Mao man ni siya ang MSRP sa website nila .. where did you get that 1.8 M na price tag ? That is the latest ( 2008 ) top of the line model which is badged as V @ only PHP 1.668 M .
