Pump (Grand Con) used to be a really cool place where there were less prostitutes and loser Koreans and war freaks. Not to mention the Dirty Old Men who dance like it's still the 70's or worse 60's and use lousy pick-up lines.... When this place was the coolest after the infamous Halo, every night rocked the party-goers' world... affordable drinks, cool music, cool crowd...So who wouldn't wanna go back every night when you have all these in one cool place right?

Now, you can't even distinguish between a hooker and a really cool party girl, a call boy and a cool guy. If you talk about the dress code, it's simple. Those wearing baggy clothes with so-called bling-blings or bandanas, they call themselves "frat guys" or part of the so-called "hiphop society". Those wearing really cool but too-metrosexual-for-a-straight-guy clothes are either gays or double blades. Those wearing half an inch below the panty skirts, skimpy clothes,who are most likely tagged as "fashion victims" rather than fashionistas and thick hideous make-ups and dances like a worm, are the prostitutes. They're mostly seen with older men, foreigners or birds with the same feathers. And lastly, guys who look too old to be in a resto bar full of youngsters are most likely the DOM group members who doesn't really hit the dance floor but just wait outside for a prospect. They mostly wear fit tshirts and are tucked inside their pants with matching black leather belts and drives really cool/luxurious cars.


These are just observations. I am not generalizing okay? So if you fit in one of these descriptions, don't take it personally. I am just speaking my mind out how a very cool club turned out to be a very trashy one.

i haven't gone there in a long long time. last time i passed by the grandcon from another bar in banilad area, i heard gun shots coming from the pump area. so i decided never to go there ever again.

Haha this is actually true.. it some point you may want to drop by at the club around 2am were the dancers from a closer strip club will hang out and hook up for more customers.
