it makes sense... most virus scanners nowadays would try to prove that their application is better than the other... and i think one way of doing that is to make new viruses which could not be detected by other virus scanners but for the company that they work for it can detect it... well you know just my 2 cents...

As I've said many many times before, popular security software like Norton or McAfee aren't really an anti-virus program anyway. They just slow down your machine so much so that when I real virus tries to run... it can't; cause Norton has taken most of the system resources.

malwares now a days are money driven..
unlike before nga ang virus is more of pasikat lang..

more phising.. or farming.. or webthreats.. browser redirects..
combo attacks like pop ups + fake AV's + trojans..

this has been the trend these days..
the makers of these malwares are trying to make money out of it in a very annoying way
