Based on DNA test,The captain is dead..based on hearsays,he is alive.By the way test can be manipulated and hearsays could be exaggerated.

imo, patay or buhi, won't matter much.

if patay na, a lot of questions would have to be left unanswered... like the real story behind the ship's sinking... if however found alive and in "custody", he'll only be able to confirm what really happened. but as to whose fault, how to prevent it from happening again, blah blah blah... not much can be achieved with all those idiots in the government.

cut the captain (and his family) some slack..if he's still alive somewhere u think he's not suffering? he's alive, out of the clutches of the authorities but he can't go home and see his family. he's a fugitive (if he's still out there somewhere) and even his employer is placing the blame on him. so much for being a survivor
