while it may be true that it may be forbidden to join Freemasonry when you're Catholic, it still has not stopped many Catholics from joining the Brotherhood. there are even some Catholic priests who are Masons.

if the invitation was for a masonry that is relatively new. there would have been no problem because the membership rules for modern masonic organizations are not very strict.

the more ancient ones like the one being mentioned by the TS is a little more strict. it's unlike the normal masonry that people nowadays join like an organization they call "progressive masons". it had some parallel example in the catholic church. it's like the knights of malta (ancient) and the knights of columbus (recent). any catholic can join the knights of columbus and be even elected to the highest position. but in the knights of malta, the rules are strict because you must be someone who have the money (much of it), influence/political power (often if not always, one that is international) and the respect of the brotherhood before you are allowed to become one of them.

Catholic priests don't join the masons... it's the masons who entered priesthood in secrecy because they will try to destroy the church within.

not true...dli ka mahimung Mason if your father is a Mason...dli sad ka mahimong Rainbow/DeMolay/Jobs Daughter automatically if your father or grandfather is a Mason. You need to be initiated and join the organization in your own freewill. Freemasons do not invite they will wait for someone who will knock in their doorsteps. But you are considered as a family if you have a relative na Mason.
