wa pa sad sure if lancer ba gyud kay we're looking at fuel efficiency sad, as of now kaagwanta paman ako brother ug gamit sa old pajero namo maski 50 pesos per day nalay mabilin sa iya balon minus the diesel consumption for the car hehehe

im not really a mitsu lover ako dad hinuon kay pag palit nako sa fortuner gikataw-an ko niya, nya pag ingon nako nga akong itrade ug KIA nisamot ug katawa hehehe

without prejudice nindot gyud amo experience sa mitsu cars especially Pajero's and Strada's that we have wa gyuy daot ani nila maski pila ka tuig gimalmal sa mga dan nga pwerte ka libaong very reliable gyud ang mga 4m40 ug 4d56 engines low maintenance pa gyud

My friend, ako nibawos? Are you kidding me? We are discussing things - this is not a fight nor an argument. Dili ta mga bata diri - let's maintain a conversational tone.

I am just pointing out about build quality between both manufacturers since AJOL was talking about QUALITY. Mitsubishi's reputation has gone down over the years and their sales has decreased because of the quality they put in on their work with their vehicles.

Because of the Montero Sport's failure, Mitsubishi has dropped the badge and replaced it with the Endeavor.

And to point one thing out. The US Montero Sport is atually a higher end vehicle that competes with Pathfinders and 4Runners - compare that to the Philippine Montero Sport edition.

I was searching for a Jack sa Mitsubhishi para i can tell u na parihas rana ilang quality sa jack, as earlier gi post ni Sir Ajol na parihas ra gi kuhaon ang mga manufacturer, pro murag lain man akong na kit-an. This is the 2002 Montero (visit this link -----> 2002 mitsubishi montero Problems) ders a feedback na ang mismo Jack dili ma taud and other complaints with the brand.

Montero uses plastics for interior... so does the Fortuner.... I am sure they got the same price for it from the supplier of plastics...

Leather seat for montero.... leather seats for Fortuner... for sure they got almost the same if not the same price from seat makers....

steel for the body and frame.... surely di mag layo ang price sa pag kuha from steel manufacturers between toyota and mitsubishi... both are made in Thailand By the way... The Detroit of Southeast Asia.

that is why I said with most things being equal...
American cars need not apply ? is TOYOTA and MITSUBISHI a DOMESTIC CAR for you ? I know I may sound stupid to you but the comparison here really applies because it was not an APPLE against an ORANGE at all . It is still MITSUBISHI and TOYOTA .

Sa Stereo pa lang pwerteng ka bya-an ang FOrtuner sa Montero.......... that tells me who gives more value to my money.... I can say and conclude its cheap... but TOYOTA charges you a lot for IT.... in a way its NOT CHEAP but TOO EXPENSIVE for the FEATURE...

Mao lage ...Toyota may lack FEATURES in its AUDIO SYSTEM but it doesnt necessarily mean its CHEAP as to how you interpreted it . or likewise I would end up paying more for less . You dont purchase a TOYOTA because of its CAR AUDIO features . Murag comparable bitaw karon na I want a new SAMSUNG PHONE because it has 10 MP sa ilahang camera features . You might as well buy a REAL DIGICAM instead of a phone since you wanted a bigger megapixel .

so in other words you are paying more for a toyota... just because they think they are reliable and durable... well people will get smarter than that....
It is indeed RELIABLE and DURABLE . Thats exactly what you paid for . When you have prorblems with TOYOTA , bisan 50 pamo kabuok diri sa forums , that is still considered an ISOLATED CASE . Why do you think ithe ALTIS and the VIOS are popular choices of the TAXI OPERATORS compared to the SENTRA and the LANCER ?

other manufacturers are catching up.... mitsubishi for all their financial problems... LOCAL mitsubishi models are built tough also.... Surplus pajero still has good resale value...
Pataka ra man ka oi !!! A local unit Pajero still goes up to the high 700's while the surplus Pajero's , dili na siya mo saka na 400's .

    People want VALUE FOR MONEY....

FYI... L200 pick up was very very reliable.... 1992 pa
Inyoha man na . If I probably owned it basin guba na siya 5 years down the road depends on how I used it . That would boil down to an ISOLATED CASE . Now for the VALUE for the MONEY , I am not saying MITSUBISHI didnt have it , I used to drive a 99 Mirage LS and 04 Montero Limited ( full size SUV ) . Inyoha pangdaot na man na because I know for a fact that you really get VALUE for the MONEY in TOYOTA .

i didn't, had a toyota for over a month didn't even reached 1000kms.. Wow! and the resale value was like sh*t pwerte pa pangatawa sa taga KIA when they recieved it gitamay ba hehehe

@ TAMBOK .... are you sure you are talking about RESALE VALUE or TRADE -IN VALUE ? Do you know the difference between the 2 ?

How long have you had your KIA now ? What model is it ? Are you happy right now ? Korean cars are getting on track now but still they are decades away from the big players of Japan .

these forums are from the usa monteros there and monteros here in the philippines are totally different.

its totally different so we really can't compare unless we come up with a forum based on the philippines filled with mitsubishi complains.

@ SPRINGFIELD_XD_40: its a sorento, i'm happy with KIA right now, no thoughts of switching. The Toyota i had for a month was my 1st toyota pero perte nako mahaya, pero its over now and i'm glad i learned my lesson.

But all those thoughts are for the moment only right ? BTW .. unsa to na Toyota otherwise na sulti na nimo but I just overlooked it ? Was it comparable to the Sorento in any way ?

It sounds funny when people also say that they have their TOYOTA's also for almost 4 years and tht was their 4th Toyota and they really loved it .
