Are all freemasons nowadays still perform "demonic" rites? If the answer is yes, then their humanitarian projects aren't good! I don't think it's everyone's place to accuse of such things unless proven by the person himself. My dad is a freemason - twice a senior warden and a past lodge president. They don't perform "demonic" rites because I was there watching my Dad's induction to become the lodge president. They even have prayers before they start the ceremony. What you guys don't understand is the purpose of the organization. False impression sometimes leads to man's common mistakes.

    God Bless.

    Speculative Regular Freemasonry:

You must first ask yourself if you're suitably prepared to enter the "gentle craft of Masonry" . . . to become a brother in the world's most exclusive fraternal order. Few men are intellectually or spiritually prepared to understand or appreciate even the most apparent meanings of Masonry.

Do you reflect on the nature of man's purpose in life and will you make obligations to God, your family, and yourself?

If such ethical and moral questions hold little interest for you, then you will gain little benefit from the teachings of the Craft. But if you seek a more meaningful quality of life - and the spirit of charity and good fellowship which flow from it - then Freemasonry has much to offer.

We want the world to know what we believe, how we act, and what we do . . . and, then, should you become a Mason, we want you to be proud of our Fraternity and to participate in our work. Only those who desire membership because of their favorable impression of us should seek a petition to join.

    What We Ask of You

Any man who is twenty-one years of age or older and of good moral character, who comes well-recommended, and who believes in a Supreme Being may petition to become a Freemason.

what i meant to ask him was, is he a Free and Accepted Mason?

Maybe you're talking about the Skull & Bones society whom they have exposed as still doing human sacrifices on babies.

if the invitation was for a masonry that is relatively new. there would have been no problem because the membership rules for modern masonic organizations are not very strict.

the more ancient ones like the one being mentioned by the TS is a little more strict. it's unlike the normal masonry that people nowadays join like an organization they call "progressive masons". it had some parallel example in the catholic church. it's like the knights of malta (ancient) and the knights of columbus (recent). any catholic can join the knights of columbus and be even elected to the highest position. but in the knights of malta, the rules are strict because you must be someone who have the money (much of it), influence/political power (often if not always, one that is international) and the respect of the brotherhood before you are allowed to become one of them.
