Ask that questions to the officers or agency of the government assigned to handle that...i'm not a government official...and I'm not interested where that (obviously) corrupted money you're talking about went to...why are you asking me? it seems that you're very good in detecting corruptions in the government...you better discover it yourself...or maybe you really don't have any proofs to all your accusations against the president...what do you think?

    More Corruption Business

Corruption hits home (Cebu) big time. Lawmaker lawbreaker. Stealing millions of money.

CEBU CITY Representative Clavel Asas-Martinez stole P26.5-million assistance funds intended for the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Cebu Council.

Deposited in Personal Savings Account? - Charge her with Plunder.

Charge her associates too. Who needs corrupt official in Cebu?

Martinez is GSP-Cebu first vice president, while her daughter Ma. Cielo is the treasurer.

The congresswoman welcomed the investigation, saying she had not done anything wrong because the money was already with its intended recipient, the municipal government of Bogo, where her son Celestino "Tining" Martinez III, is the mayor.

P26 million from the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) of Cebu Fourth District Rep. Clavel Asas-Martinez found its way to Mrs. Martinez’s personal bank account. The funds were released to the local government of Bogo, then transferred to the GSP, and eventually to Mrs. Martinez.

    wawa pinoy.

I am asking you because you are a rabid defender of GMA. Mayo kaayo ka mag research about corruption ni Erap. Now I am asking you because you seem to be a corruption expert.

You seem to be expert about Erap. Why the sudden silence of GMAs handling of the Marcos wealth?

Or this is an issue you will be skirting because you cannot defend it this time.

    1. HER honesty.

She has single-handedly revealed to the world the lack of morality in the way we deal with anything political. With Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and her cronies around, we learned to accept the fact that corruption is natural, even expected (see slyder's comments). Thus, we resign ourselves, our children and their children to a nation ruled by crooks, with our very own so-called President the biggest of them all. Filipinos everywhere can’t be any prouder. Now our children only has to look “up” to Ms Arroyo as their role model, and we, parents, don’t have to do any extra work.

    2. Her acting prowess.

Where previously actors wanted to be politicians, Ms Arroyo shifted the equation by morphing from the unwanted leader she was to the loathsome actor-wannabe she has become. She first stunned the unwitting Filipino voters by posing a la Nora Aunor, fumbled through her Iron Lady façade, and in her biggest act yet, made puppetry more convincing than ever with her “I am sorry” monologue that broke records-- and TV screens! With the Filipino taxpayers’ hard-earned money at her disposal, Ms Arroyo remains a “bankable” show-biz star capable of playing the most complicated roles and outdoing “X-Men” and “Harry Potter” combined.

    3. She’s got the brains.

She can change the way we believe, including how not poor, not unemployed and not homeless we are. With a stroke of redefined statistics terminologies, she has successfully insulted our intelligence, hoodwinked and mass-hypnotized us into believing things can only get better if she stays on top, while we are “squeezed” down here.

    4. Her blessedness.

If not for her prayers, boxer Manny Pacquiao would not have won! If not for Pope John Paul II and all those saints and dead people, she would not have gone after the presidency. Ms Arroyo is indeed “The Anointed.” Thus, to save us Filipinos the trouble of choosing our next leaders, the holy trinity of Ms Arroyo, Fidel Ramos and Jose de Venecia is moving heaven and earth to make us dance the “Cha-cha” to the tune of “Hello Garci.”

    5. She has “caliber.”

Who needs martial law when you can spin new words like “calibrated preemptive response (CPR),” “rule of law” and “glorious day,” and hire a foreigner called “Venable” to make “Filipinos,” “sovereignty,” “Bill of Rights” and “Constitution” things of the past? So as the “Merchant of Malacañang” is telling us, it’s time to sell, sell, sell! After all, it’s only the Philippines on the auction block -- and us, Filipinos.

Are we really giving everything up to a wolf in sheep’s clothing, who insults our God with the fang of the devil, after stealing our votes and morals, lying about our present and future, and cheating us of our nationhood and government? It is time we reclaim the power that is ours before Ms Arroyo and her crooks totally blind us into believing she is our only salvation. Because the alternative has been us all along.
