Advice on Pimple / Acne Treatment

Anybody got any advice on pimple or acne treatment for those really large pimples which stay on your face for more than a week? The really big red ones..

I've tried benzoyl peroxide, erythromycin, salicylic acid.. doesn't work. The damn pimples keep coming back.

maybe you have the same kind of pimles that i have.. the one that's called poppules.. or the cystic kind.. the big red bumps that goes away a long time and leave a big dark spot.. mine stays at least 2 weeks on my face!!

but when my derma tried pimple injections on my pimples.. it goes away a day or two.. medication is injected directly on the stubborn zit.. i've been visiting my derma at least once a month for two years now..

it's quite painful at first.. but eventually.. you learn to don't mind the pain.. as they say.. no pain, no gain.. hehe..

i've tried it at FLAWLESS.. sa SM northwing.. 100 per injection.. they also have complimentary injections for free if the zit doesn't go away in 2 days..

one shot per pimple lng.. if the pimple won't go away in two days.. that's the time they inject on the pimple again.. it's not advisable na ma over ang injection.. c",)

it's a very small needle.. the one used to inject insulin shots i think..

i don't really suffer from extreme acne.. but before, i used to get pimples every month.. it's a girl thing.. and because of my fair complexion.. having big, large, cystic pimples bother me a lot..

anyway, here were the steps i undertook to improve my skin.. via my derma's advice..

1st Step: Applied ACNE GEL & ISOTREX GEL (topicals)
>>> helps prevent pimples and clears out imperfections.. used it for a month before i saw results.. now, even if my face cleared out, i still use these everyday for prevention..

2nd Step: Took TETRALYSAL capsules (300mg)
>>> a medicine for acne treatment.. i only took it once a week.. my derma said that if i take it everyday.. there might be a possibility that my body would become immune to the medicine and may not work next time.. but i don't use it now, just before when i had zits..

3rd Step: Had DIAMONDPEEL (2x a month for the 1st two months)
>>> diamond peel is good to help lessen and remove acne scars.. esp. in my case where dark marks appear due to cystic zits (goes away for a long long time).. hehe.. i've been having diamond peel once a month for 2 years now.. keeps the skin clear and smooth.. but NEVER FORGET to USE SUNBLOCK!! skin is very vulnerable after peeling..

Step 4: Have PIMPLE INJECTIONS
>>> when i feel that a zit is forming on my face.. i immediately have it injected.. i don't wait for it to get bigger.. it's not really that painful.. and the zit usually disappears overnight.. it's great for people who have cystic kind of zits (big red bumps) because no matter how many topicals i apply.. it just doesn't penetrate to the core because the zit doesn't have any opening.. c",)

these are just my own regiment.. it's best that you guys consult your derma first because certain medications work differently on people.. i've tried many different products and medicines.. so i know what works for me now..

im on TETRALYSAL for 2 weeks. its my 3rd day today. I have really really bad cystic acnes lately.
around 15 of them. kon maayo na hapit, naa napud lain mu tubo. very very frustrating. had i known about the cortisone injections, maypa nag sige nako pa inject.

does it have to be a big cystic acne para ila injectan? or ok ra kana mga small bumps, para di mo tubo?

put ice on the bump.....it will lessen the pain...then mawala ra sad xa if cge ka butang ice...heheh...mao ni ako buhaton basta naa mu sulpot nga pimple niya sakit gani....heheh...
