To make it to the olympics .... or should I say z guaranteed GOLD MEDALIST OLYMPIAN .... it takes time . sama sa mga CHINESE GYMNASTICS TEAM .... their team were composed of girls who even started training at 3 years old !!

We need private sectors. We cannot bank on our government because we all know how incompetent and corrupt our officials are, even at the sports area alone. We need an overseer of raw talents all over the country and somebody who could at least support them (see UAAP and NCAA basketball here in the Philippines). Most of the RP team members of different sports are either Luzon based or are funding their own training and sport, thus those who are financially down yet has the potential are all left behind. Opportunity doesn't knock on everybody's door and it's so unfortunate for us here in the Philippines because those who were and are deprived of such opportunity are even those people who can give us the coveted gold medal.
