@ram_hot : the japanese version is already out and u can order at amazon japan, the english version is to be released around November and u can pre-order it at amazon u.s.

I even let a friend of mine watch ff7, and she does not watch anime nor play any video games, but she likes the story and action just the same. She was so engrossed that I could not get any decent answer whenever I try to ask her something

ako wala ko kabalo sa story sa ff7 na game. pero bisag wala ko kabalo, ganahan gyapon ko kay ang action scenes mismo ayos kayo. samot na kung bata pa ang mo tan-aw wa sila labot sa story.. ang scenes ra ila paki

i guess FF Spirits Within is superior in graphics, bt the flaws lies in the storylines which doesnt seem to fit in the FF world n games....this what happens when u gave the script to the foreign directors..its bound to create disaster...one should realize FF is created n will always be japanese...i was just bit happy..in FF7 they didnt did the same mistake in FF'Spirits Within...

well bottomlines...is the fact that it origins lies in the RPG games in which hardcore gamers followed...its only necessary they should follow it...much of the gamers and ff fanatics were expectin it to be related...but turns out its more like a westernize version...i have nuthin FF Spirits Within...my sentiments is just they just burn too much of the graphics and not adhering to the "original" story.
