check event viewer para makita nimo ang source sa imong problem if this really is caused by a software application, hell, even hardware problem makes logs in the event viewer.

post all errors in the past few days here para ma check nato unsa pasabot ana niya.

    event viewer = start > run > type 'eventvwr.msc'
check the windows > system logs.

Evil spirits = its karma man, you cant run away from it... RUN!!!

    - loose power cord, also check the power connection from supply to mobo
    - Power supply = try changing
    - instant restart or shutdown = electricity problem

    or start RUNNING!!!

Hey what do you trying to say KARMA? and you cant run away? Why man ma karma ko?

Btw, I am using UPS, NO Record from event viewer... It only happen once and its doing well as of now.

    MY SPECS: 1 month old

AMD Athlon 5000+ X2 with CPU COOLER
M2N-VM mobo (builtin lang ako gi gamit na videocard shared)
    4 x 1GB Memory
    2 x optical drives 1 dvdrom/dvdrw
    HEC PSU 500W

I dont think its overloaded sa 500W PSU dba? basta ni kalit ug shutdown walay pananghid, mobo lites ON, when turn it back its functioning well...until now..

Electricity basin naa sad jud posibility...

I/O Controller hub temperatures has to be the hottest part of the motherboard. averaging from 68-79. If ICH gani na nga part, normal ra na. Put a typical electric fan na nag-atubang sa imong mobo and the temperatures will drop lower by 20%-30%. There are lots of reasons why a computer automatically shuts down because of temperature. Usually if molapas na gani sa stable temperature(or overheats) ang usa ka part sa computer, automatic na siya mo-shutdown thanks to our current motherboards that do that function

EDIT: pero there is something weird about placing a typical electric fan facing your motherboard. Yes, the motherboard temperature decreases including the GPU temperatures. Pero ang processor temperature mosaka-mo-ubos(as in the processor temperature never goes down sa safe/safest temperatures) sa normal ug sa overheat temperatures but it doesnt automatically shut down. The processor fan's RPM also goes down which i dont know why. It cant be the electric fan is the culprit. Kay mo-lessen man ang air resistance sa processor fan with the electric fan na dapat mo-kusog unta ang RPM sa processor fan.

    Just something to share
