Issues with Toyota

i respect your opinion sir, wala man sad ko nag brag ni ask man gani ko kung nindot ba nga brand kay gi nindotan man ko sa iya tingog... patukaran ug bob marley ang Paj sako dadi nindot kaau paminawn stock stereo & speakers sa mitsu ni

pero pag patukar nako using Fujitsu ten and stock speakers sa toyota murag lata sa sardinas nga gi sudlag bato hehehe PAEEEET

that's all with just the speakers. most speakers put into new cars are not good and not worth keeping anyway. First thing i do when I buy a car is pull out the stock POS speakers and change them. I've heard the stock stereo system for the vios and it's not bad at all and this is coming from a person who is into car audio.

which part naka-ig*t si toyota? at the end of the day, they are into selling cars and here in the Phils, they are top-selling. And you can't do anything about that if your issue here are all about the stereo.

To the car owner, if he really is into car audio, they will always change the stock stereo because the stereos provided can not match with their exquisite taste. No OEM stereo is good enough for the car audio fanatic.

you look at almost any new car in the states and all of their stereos are just with the generic name Ex. Toyota. Fujitsu Ten makes the stereos for toyota, fujitsu ten also makes Eclipse with is one of the best stereo makers on the market today. Toyota DOES NOT make their own stereos for their cars FYI!!!

yes of course- car manufacturers do not manufacture stereos- it is a no-brainer- it will be more expensive if they make their own stereos.

BUT THE SIMPLE RULE IS...

ELECTRONICS get cheaper EVERY YEAR with more FEATURES.....

TOYOTA DOES the OPPOSITE.... they JACK up the PRICE EVERY YEAR...

electronics and automobiles are very different. cost of labor and materials for manufacturing a car is way more than a simple stereo. I'm not even going to get into R&D.

ELECTRONICS get cheaper EVERY YEAR with more FEATURES.....

TOYOTA DOES the OPPOSITE.... they JACK up the PRICE EVERY YEAR...

they jack up the price every year not because of the stereo. they have to increase prices to be competitive. Analyze this- the cost of car manufacturing gets to increase every year. ergo, they have to increase car prices just like other businesses. I repeat not because of the stereo- they get a cheaper stereo, thats their decision. and they know the stereo will not be the single deciding factor when buying a car. You still don't get it?

if they maintain the same stereo, maybe the price could have been more epensive. but then again, how much is a good ALPINE stereo -thats onl 8-10 thousand.
