There were even attempts to worsen things up when surprised military personnels were commanded by their impostor leaders to straff moslem mosques after the events occured. These army personnels were so disgruntled that they joined the Oakwood mutiny and exposed the insider job attempt to the media.

But, during those trying times Davao instead rose up immediately after the tragedy and turned it to be one of the most shining and glorifying event for the city to the admiration even of foreign observers. After the tragedy and suspected insider conspiracy, the people of Davao held a Peace March attended by almost all sectors of society from Christian, Muslim, Indigenous tribes, religious, secular, miltant groups, etc and showed to the whole world how united the Dabawenyos are. It was a scene no true Dabawenyo could forget as people from all walks of life comforted and supported each other. One can see Muslim, Christian people sincerely hugging and even crying (a memorable scene to every Dabawenyo) in support of each other in a show of unity among these groups not always seen in any Mindanao or Philippine city.

In Davao City the unity and support of Christian, Muslim, Indigenous peoples is very strong and even the admiring foreign observers attested it, and this is what makes one a true and proud Dabawenyo. And those who are friends with Davao deserve to partake with this noble pride. There was even one Muslim who was interviewed on TV and he so admired Davao he said "Mayaman ang Davao, mas mayaman pa sa Cebu," that is the actual words he said on air in PTV 11 during those trying times. Of course that was his opinion, though he may not mean material riches (alhough Davao had recently garnered the status of most competitive city in the entire country), more likely he means more than that, probably he means the rich cultural ties between Davaoenyos and their Muslim bothers.

    Ngano nangutana ka? Taga-asa ka?

The issue is best addressed in any politics thread but it's OT in this thread. I believe you are able to understand the ethics behind it.

If you have to laugh at another city's issue or commenting about negative aspects, why not focus your attention to your own place instead and do something about it, just as we are doing to our own place? Otherwise it would be hypocritical not to. That's why I am asking what city you are from to make things fair. Basin mura bitaw ug kataw-an nato ang atong isigkatao nga gakayamukat ang buhok pero ang person concerned wala nakatan-aw sa salamin kay basin diay ang mo-reflect dagway mismo gakayamukat.

It's just a matter of respect, it will be a respectful gesture on your part to refrain from opening political issues here kay OT na sa real purpose of this thread, so that we can also provide you the same respect. If you are from Mindanao I believe you are mature and cultured enough, I hope, to understand this sensitive issue.

I will not answer further questions to an OT.

What silly conclusion if such were the case wala ma'y nag-ingon nga dili tinuod gibombahan ang davao airport or sasa seaport pero baton lang ug respeto sa mga nabiktima kay luoy sila dugay na man kaayo ni nahitabo 5 years or more ago pa.

Besides nowadays Davao is not a distinct case about bombing for even London, Madrid, Moscow, Manila, New York and other important and very influential cities were also targeted kay kaning mga mantas dili motarget ug pipitsugin lang pilion nila tung mga lugar nga important and very influential to create bigger impact. The point is Davao was able to rise from the ugly intentions of their ugly kind and prove to the rest of Humanity that Dabawenyos are a united people able to rise nobly and gracefully from the ashes, and will continue to do so no matter what happens.

Just be sensible you will understand what I mean and it won't be necessary to discuss pa what's the difference between a rural mountain and London kung pareha gibombahan.

As you may notice during those bombings that occured many years ago, it was discovered that there was deep issue involved especially with the participation of a CIA agent Michael Meiring (you should research further about the CIA and discover it does not really work for the interest of American people as even a number of Americans already discovered it) that would inevitably link it to the position of this country, Davao in particular, for its strategic importance in world affairs.

Davao was already world-renowned many decades ago in the early 80's, although negatively, due to the insurgency thing (contrary to what the ignorants say, it's not religious, people here from different religions have always been united) and the city being very influential against the Marcos dictatorship (the welga ng bayan was a Davao initiative during those times). The conflict occured not because of some stupid reasons but because of a battle of wits and ideology. But these adversities had made the Dabawenyo soul more stronger and resilient.

But NOW, look how Davao transformed itself like a beautiful phoenix that rose from the ashes. Nowadays , despite attacks and insults by the envious, she garnered numerous accolades and citations (nga wala'y pamotbot) through the years becoming instead the country's Most Livable City, Most Peaceful City in southeast Asia, Cleanest and Greenest City, Best Police Force, BIMP-EAGA Initiator, Only Asian city with 911, Most Child Friendly City, Most Competitive City, Country's Best in Human Resource, Cited among the three Best Sites in the World for ICT/ BPO Business, among others.

Only recently, the expat community attested Davao City "deserves the title as the Crown City of The Philippines" straight from the admiring observation of foreign visitors for her "diversity, richness, beauty."
    www.expatforum.com Davao City Guide

Despite the ugly intentions of the ugly kind and no matter how the utak talangka attempt to pull her down, Davao has proven herself to the World of her noble and graceful comeback preparing herself to be world class in her own way. With her rising from the ashes and adversity, the World notices and is inspired.

And Davaoenyos and the friends of Davao (except tong mga utak talangka kay ngil-ad mangigi man) will truly say it is a city that they can surely be proud of, and will do their part in keeping her clean and green, majestic, mystifying, cultured, on her way to becoming a world class city.

    Hello,

I'm Mr. Bean. I'm now afraid to speak out about my personal experience about condos.
Because some people gets angry whenever someone tell their personal experience about it.
I was warned that I should be careful. Otherwise, xDS will take of me.
    What is xDS?

    Regards,
    Mr. Bean

Mr. Bean it's not you that's the issue because you just happened to speak about your experience. It's the issue of bisayadako who used you as a tool to further his agenda. Besides, considering your foreign culture may not be totally the same as our local culture, much more would it be expected your experience on condo living would be the same as condo living in the Philippines or in Davao.

The issue on bisayadako has been exposed as his seeming intention is to bring damage against condo projects considerably for Davao's disadvantage (expected he will deny this exposed motive) because it turned out he misinformed that there were many condo's in a city he's rooting for, namely CDO which turned out to be false, but condo projects however were sprouting in Davao. CDO had been trying hard to rival Davao trying to self-proclaim as the new premier city in Mindanao, even their news and politicians once said they could overtake Davao in a matter of years but it seemed it didn't occur and they can only swallow their words and arrogance. It has been observed not only in this forum but in other forums as well that some people from that city or those that ally with it attempted to bring down Davao to the point of insulting it and in this case, attempting to disrupt the hard earned effort of investors in Davao who had to spend multi-million condominium investment and we in Davao just cannot allow bisayadako's damaging attempt to smear our city's interest and its investors. This is an ugly attitude known as 'utak talangka' or crab mentality that refer to the ugly envious behavior of Filipinos against their fellows.

Please do not allow yourself to be used by bisayadako's ulterior motive.
