What i was trying to say when i said "Do your own music and we'll listen to you..., we'll respect what you'll come up to..." was simply we'll respect what you can create, i don't mine if you don't have to enumerate those songs you've made...

Your a good/great/the best musician, is that what your looking for? I don't give a damn about your nice musical accomplishments and stuffs... I respect to whatever those songs you mentioned that you made and published... Congrats by the way....

The creativity in replacing the lyrics of a "Supposedly ripped-off songs" is the new lyrics itself. Don't label it as ARTFULLY, you can never define the element of art in a one-sided sense. I can tell you your songs are not ARTFULLY correct if i say so, but you would insist it is, because you made it ARTFULLY! So maybe it is actually ARTFULLY.... So judge sparingly!!!
Creativity?....I agree that's when element an artist should have...and they did it through fitting a good lyrics out of that song! There are many levels of creativity, and the least defined level of it is still creativity.... and they are in that level sad to say...

You don't buy CDs from artists who you label as rip-offs... well, there you go... Since you can't stand them, you don't listen to them.. you should have done the same thing here... there's no need to debate on these guys that they're rip-offs and all, we should have let them be... that would have been the respect the fans of this guys deserved (that excludes me by the way)

My final say? Let's stop pulling down people on top when they're just doing what they ought to do... It's happening to our politics and society as a whole, and let's not spread it in the music scene.... let's respect artists they way they are... If you love the artists you love, great! If you hate revivals, raps, or the likes, then don't listen and don't mind what they do... don't screw their high publicity status for the moment, it's hard to get there, and here we go, pulling them down.... hhaaahhaaayyy.. politiko nga scene...

onin111: you will never get it coz ur not a musician... u might've sounded mighty convincing only if we know that u know what ur talking about but it seems that u don't... it has nothing to do with crab mentality pinoy vs. pinoy coz there is no nationality/borders in music and art. even if OandL is/was a foreign band i will still say that they're a bunch of rip-offs coz it's obvious that they ripped off some old songs from other artist.

Congratulate gani ko kay naa kay kanta!!! I know you can write and do music well, you said it yourself! Everyone has the right to criticize even if your a musician or not... What i, and always have been pointing out is.... Respect what they are up to... They're there for the moment, why can't we just leave people/entities alone.... Be proud of whom you love to hear, and leave alone the people whom you don't. The music is free to be heard and not.. so if you don't like them, just ignore, and continue with your music and all... don't blast them with this news, there are people who like them and enjoys their music. LEAVE THEM ALONE....

I don't support these guys, nor i am a an avid fan of their music. What's plaguing this country, and what this thread might lead to the music scene, is the Pulling Down habit, or in a precsie manner, "Crab Mentality". This has always been my point and will always be in this thread.... I agree with your points in stealing and the others, but please... let's stop pulling people ladies and gentlemen!!!

That's the only thing i'm on to with this thread.... I salute to your musical endeavors and this has nothing to do with it... only our "crab mentality" attitude. All I ask is enjoy to what they're bringing to the music scene... we acknowledge by fact that they have copied the song or whatsoever, but people are still delighted with it because it sounds nice...

Let's enjoy music without criticizing... I always hear dayang-dayang sa bus ug terminal, pero dili ko manghilabot and criticize kay i know some people enjoy it... pasagdan lang bah....

Nope, I'm a musician... playing for quite sometime already around Cebu. I know the etiquette of songwriting and copyrights stuff too, but as i've said, I'm into the mentality of bringing people down....I know there's no border within the music scene, but in reality, we still have this attitude within Filipinos. If you haven't heard of people throwing stones on Cueshe, and other cebu-based bands in manila, then you'll realize what i'm trying to say...

Here's their response to the difference of the number of notes CHANDELIER has and what PINOY AKO HAS..

etc".. pag umabot or lampas sa 7 similar notes ang isang song in
comparison to another different song, in the same progression or
parehong pareho..bawal na daw po yun. I think its called the "7 note
