nope. i think he was referring to over voltage protection / voltage correction / does not supply clean power to your system / etc... nothing to do with the wattage (i suppose).

Dorm mu with your friends? Kay basin unstable ang supply diha. Kung maayo nana, better buy UPS para mas stable ang supply

Perhaps try add more ventilation.... Or add any fan available.
Motherboard these days are meant to shutdown if they are too HOT!!!!
