    Exclamation OpenDNS Site Blocking

graveh ang bag-o nga site filtering sa opendns...di na kalusot akong mga favorite sites. gi try na nako ug customize ang settings sa dashboard, di gihapon kalusot. unsaon nalang akong mga favorite sites .

if anyone here who has managed to bypass the settings effectively, please share.

    **UPDATE**

i downloaded the dynamic updater for opendns but PLDT doesn't like the program because the ip address i currently have right now is shared and is part of the network daw. it feels like PLDT wants me to use their nameservers which i think, are slow and non-customizable unlike sa OpenDNS. if i can't update my customized settings with openDNS, some of the site i like will be blocked. i'm with PLDT's tech support right now how to address these concerns. again, if anyone here knows how to bypass or resolve this, please share.

is it as fast as opendns?

    **UPDATE**

I finally figured it out. An idiot subscriber or PLDT's network administrator subscribed to opendns and enabled the filters for this range of IP address: 122.2.16.0 - 122.2.31.255

Which is why when I try to register the address, it gives an error message that network already exists. Nagtoo na jud ko nga PLDT jud ang gahimo ani. I already emailed the contact persons for the range of IP addresses to disable the filter settings for opendns because I'm sure its not just blocking me but also the other users on this range as well. So far, wala pa response.

old naman ni nga issue bay. banned naman gani ang youtube ug proxy.org pud. i guess opendns is good for corporate companies anyways para ang mga employees dili magliwaliw sa web(LOL).

anyways, you can always use the dns provided by your ISP. only if reliable ba

use IPs. If your query doesn't go to OpenDNS, then it can't block it.

resolve na. taga PLDT jud ang ga-experiment. gi WHOIS nako akong IP address then kit-an nako ang gamanage sa range niya with their email addresses. nang respond man sad, gi off na nila ang filter.
