wala may nang hambog diri na successful ba.. kita man tanan nagkalisod.. unsa man pud na imong solusyon na mag yaw2x man ka about sa atong gi atay na gobyerno?? natural ma ma wad-an jud ug gana miski kinsang maningkamot ana...

Kay if you live your day one day at a time only, then you wil definitely not have a plan for tomorrow.. you learn from your mistakes and not repeat them..

OT: ug kana bitaw mu gamit ko ug YOU.. doesn't entirely mean you (cdburgh) Sir..
GENERAL term na sir.. dili intawn ko mu tira nimo and I quote from your previous post

"Are you HITTING on me..." No sir. wa koy plano. thank you.

I wont quote anyone now but I will stress the points presented :

    - The RICH gets RICHER , the POOR gets POORER . That is a mentality and not a fact with figures . So whoever said this , where did you fit in ? Did you become POORER or RICHER ? Base lang sa 1 ka tao .

    - I dont believed that all NFA rice are that filthy . Unless the one who surveyed the CLAIMED FACT rounded up all the NFA retailers even in Cebu City alone .

    - How is UNFORTUNATE being classified ? By being unemployed and more mouths to feed ? Murag pwerting sayopa na gyud , there was study regarding OVERPOPULATION and not a single data about UNFORTUNATE PEOPLE and more suffering because you JUST dont like PGMA ?

    - You know who you are , naa gyud ka sa Henderson karon , even in the US , dili ka mamili ug trabaho , mamili ka ug how you enjoy your job , trust me .... ikaduha ra na ang sweldo . BTW ... undergrads and uneducated can beat you in a heartbeat if they have the EXPERIENCE . I dont know what youve got or how old are you but what you are referring to ? BEEN THERE and DONE THAT .

    - Grab and PETTY CRIMES sa HONGKONG . Been there 6 times in a span of 4 years . That is fisthand information though I wasnt a victim at all , Ive seen it from colleagues . You name it ... SWINDLING , SNATCHING , PICKPOCKETING etc . The Triads only holds offie in HK , they operate all over the world and HK is supposed to be better than the Philippines right ? Lesser in population ? Just because we didnt hear or read about it doesnt mean it never happened .

    - When the EMPLOYERS are EXPLOITING the EMPLOYEES , what does SONA got to do whit it ? Or unless si PGMA ang owner sa 1 ka company paying lower than minimum wage . BTW ... there are agencies like DOLE who ill worked out with employees who got exploited , did the employees utilized them ? Mo ingon man dayon ta ... gobyerno na wala ko salig ana . Hehehe ... do we even know where is the office of the DOLE before we talk about them in a negative way ?

no matter how wide we open our eyes, each and everyone of us here in the forums are limited to the areas we routinely scour daily and that's a fact. Mandaue, Mactan, Cebu City or even the whole Visayas group of islands is not the whole 7,107 islands of the Philippines. so that means, both your experiences and observations (@omar and @cdburgh) are not representative of the whole 90M Filipinos, hence the need to support your claims with actual verifiable numbers.

I just find it funny whenever I hear someone say "that there are more people who are suffering today" compared to such and such. why? have you been to every single home of the close to 90,000,000 Filipinos? what's the basis for the comparison? what's the number of those "suffering" before and the current number now? lay it down here and let's compare. 'coz if we'll just talk our bungholes out without facts, figures and statistics to back it up, then what's the difference between this conversation we're having and those that frequently occur in your suking talipapa?

you know what's true with the above statement? you can actually insert a name of any given third world country in the blank space provided below and it wouldn't really make a difference.

which country am I referring to? _______________

I can actually write down the name of two boroughs here in NYC that fits that very description to a T:

Brooklyn and Bronx = a lot of hungry people in every corner (bums), a lot of criminals lurking around (muggers, rapists and petty criminals are dime a dozen), a lot of jobless people (lining up at workforce centers), corruption here and there (very common news in the New York Times).

ever wonder why your generalizations is exactly the same as the examples I've given? it's because, that's the result of unfounded, baseless and haphazardly made-up conclusions such as the ones you guys managed to fish out of the blue.

More families suffering from hunger, says SWS

    BY JOCELYN MONTEMAYOR

MORE Filipino families reported experiencing hunger during the second quarter of the year, a survey of the Social Weather Stations showed.

Malacaņang officials said this was a result of increasing prices of fuel and food in the world market.

The SWS survey from June 27 to 30 showed that families experiencing hunger rose to 16.3 percent (about 2.9 million families) in the second quarter as against the 15.7 percent who claimed to have experienced involuntary hunger in the first quarter survey of March.

As if those people don't have a choice, unlike here.

As I said before, and I will say this again, no country is exempted from lazy citizens, first or third world. US government is doing way better than ours in addressing those kind of problems, that is why they are only a minority.

    Baseless you say?

ever wonder why you prefer to live in NYC rather than in pinas where all of your friends and relatives are here? it's because our government are mostly corrupt, employment with a decent pay is a scarce.

I personally dont find the link a RELIABLE SOURCE , indeed it is a good tool useful to attack people they dont like or crosses them .

Sorry bai ... it doesnt cut it to my standards and level , sentido komon lang .... SWS really did conducted and surveyed 2.9 million families ? Basin nag strategy na sila ug common denominator which accounts and composes of families of 10 to 15 in a household . Awa ang links sa ubos sa url na gihatag nimo , its about SONA and NFA hehehe .

filthy means not suitable for human consumption, while ang ako sulti is baho okok ug walay lami. I can claim that for a fact, I have been to those NFA warehouses not just the retailers.

You dont find it reliable, but when your GMA tries to use the SWS survey in defending her thrown in her "I am Sorry" speech you took it hook line and sinker. Sa ato pa si GMA walay sentido komon...bright pa diay tang GMA ani...hahaha

FYI lang bai, ang pasabot anang survey kay dili na nila tagsa-tagsa-on ug adto tanang panimalay, naa na cla mga formula on how to get to nearest acceptable figures, mao naa nay plus minus 3 percent accuracy.

By saying BAHO ug OKOK and WALAY LAMI already contributes your fact that indeed it is FILTHY hence the obvious assumption that it is FILTHY . Dili na siya manimahong OKOK kug waly OKOK right ? You didnt get he point , ikaw pa man gani ni sulti na DEFENDING from being OVERTHROWNED , meaning naay mga detractors . Mas makaingon ko na you are the one who took the hook line and sinker because you thought the DETRACTORS are better than her . Can you start giving names ?

FYI lang bai, ang pasabot anang survey kay dili na nila tagsa-tagsa-on ug adto tanang panimalay, naa na cla mga formula on how to get to nearest acceptable figures, mao naa nay plus minus 3 percent accuracy.
That is true , pero case to case basis depending sa unsay gi survey and who did the survey , now when we speak in the MILLIONS , do you know how much is 3 % of 2.9 MILLION ? They should have also included btw those percentage of the lower class who moved to middle class and those middle class families who became above average class livelihood wise . Mao lage look at the bigger picture ... and if these people who moved on because not that they CAN but they WANTED to , why cant those 2.9 million families per se cant do it ?

MORE FILIPINOS means MORE MOUTH TO FEED . How can 1 person feed 10 children when his income is only capable for the moment of raising 3 children ?

I still don't get your point, but anyway, I belong to the middle class and working my way to gain more than what I have now. I am not rich nor poor ha......para magkasinabot tang duha.

Ngano man imo ipa prove nako, wala man sa ako ang burden of proof, kamo may first nag claim nga naa daghan petty crimes sa HK compared to pinas.

    What is your point exactly?

Your logic seems offtrack, GMA was not discrediting her detractors in her "I am Sorry" speech intawn oi. She was defending her thrown because she talked to Garci while election count is on-going, then iya gigamit ang imong gi discredit na SWS survey para pag prove "kuno" na cya ang naka daug "kuno".

you probably didn't understand the flow of the conversation we had earlier with cdburgh and you just butted in without analyzing it thoroughly so let me refresh you're memory, the discussion was "there are more people suffering now" compared to previous terms. yes you gave some stats but do you think it answers what was being asked for?

    1) comparing 16.3 from first half of this year and about 15.7 from last year is just comparing PGMA's term against her term. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

    2) giving an SWS survey for this year without giving another survey from either Cory's, Ramos' and Erap's is no comparison at all. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE EITHER.

conclusion: when you present supporting stats make sure it's verifiable, comparable and most importantly, complete.

let me ask you a simple question: are you fond of submitting reports just for the sake of submitting one even if it doesn't come close to what was being asked of you? pity. such a waste of time.
