Truth be told, I've experience more prejudice in the Philippines than I ever have in the US. Racism is just one form of prejudice. Pinoys practice prejudice to each other all the time. That makes me a sad puppy.

No. The difference is trust in the Philippines can be bought. My father is white. How many times have we gotten ripped off because of it? How many times has my family been denied business opportunities because of it? How many times have we been simply ripped off by taxi drivers because of it? How many times have services been less than forthcoming because of it? Too many to even mention.

The fact is prejudice exists everywhere. Each and everyone of you has a racist tendency. The only difference is money buys most things in the Philippines ... even trust and acceptance, at least at face value.
