    waaaaaaaaaaaaaa....never ko mo buhat ana jud or any tip...cguro heaven sent lang jud nang taohana nako for my problem. I was hoping and praying nga ma solve na jud ang PC prob nako..karon I can say I am better now.

    what was that penalty fee for? when in fact under warranty pa man kaha imong mobo...correct me if i'm wrong...

    25% ang penalty and thats big, then maski pa kuno under warranty kay 2 months old paman insist jud cla pabayaron ko for 25% for 2 months of use then to think 1 month is AWR so 1 month ra unta ang penalty and one thing ila gi reason change item kuno ko coz ila man jud gi replaced maski ang new replaced mobo same specs same brand same all...

    What do u think? should I pay for 25% penalty?

    of course not...it was totally unnecessary...para unsa man diay nang 1 yr warranty clause nila...u pay 25% more for using your pc(in a month) & kai naguba w/in the warranty period? i find the penalty fee quite absurd...whether they like it or not, they are bound to replace the product nga naguba w/in pa sa warranty period...sumbong sa DTI...

    Kung naa man gani taga PCX diri pls. tubag kuno & klaroha ning inyong patakaran...kaning item nga guba ila ra baya pud ning e-uli didto sa ilang supplier(most probably PCTrends kai mao ni nag supply almost all parts sa tanang compu shops diri Pilipinas) then ilisan ra na sila ug same item...the most siguro imong bayaran is shipping cost kung imong ipadali...diha bitaw ko GEIL ram naguba w/in(6months into) pa sa warranty period...ako lang gi-uli didto sa Arctech(diha pa sila sa una)...then gi-ingnan ko ni Ryan(aka muzikfreakah) nga wait lang mga 1-2 weeks for the replacement to arrived...after 5 days i was called by an Arctech staff nga ready for pickup na ang replacement item...wala ko pabayara bisan piso...mao nai CUSTOMER SERVICE...so ako lipay & satisfied kaayo...sayang lang wala na Arctech karon...ni morph na into FineUpgrades...hehehe...but i am confident that naa gihapon na ang ilang FINE customer service...

    @simoko 1 month advance warranty replacement mao mana ila store policy...... with in 1st 1 month ana ra mo ilis pcx gyud directly sa imo item if daot siya guranteed wala physical damage imo item......
    6 months naguba gi ilisan daun depend mana sa store policy if ingana ang case mo ilis ra sila maski taod2 didto ta palit..........and usually mo ingana ang store if dili daghan kaau ila costumer......naka try nako ingane nga style..........

    thanks bro...so unsa man diay gyud covered aning 1yr warranty nila? naa kai percentage bayaran kung lapas na 1month advance warranty replacement period pero within pa sa 1yr warranty? karon pa ko ani nga style sa PCX da...imbis daghan na sila customer mas nindo-ton pa unta nila ilang warranty para magbalik-balik ta didto...

    @simoko na kana wa gyud ko hibaw ana bro...... sa pcx 1 month awr raman inside sa system unit...... after 1 month mao nato e pull out nila......naa sa likod ila resibo mana.... kato ingato siguro special case guro to dili man gud ta mka conclude kay wala man ta kahibaw sa whole story and what ila gkasabutan........

    This is the case of @yugi:

    Based on my understanding on the firsts post. My aswers also based on the existing PCX warranty policy (since I used to buy from them):

    He bought Asus Motherboard from pcx jones, then after morethan a months he comeback with the defective item, since motherboard had only 1month advance warranty replacement so maybe the staff telling @yugi that they have to pull-out the item, but since @yugi needed badly the motherboard he maybe asked some other ways the pcx could offer. and this is what they offer:

    Based on their Policy it said.......

    "Items that exchanged outside the two day period will be penalized a restocking fee of 15% within the first week, an additional of 5% per week for succeeding weeks will be imposed.(e.g. 20% on the second week, 25% on the third week and so on)."

    Junes 14, 2008 the purchased date of Motherboard and August 24 when pcx received the item so based on their policy as stated above @yugi principal ammount whom he purchased the item will be subtracted by 50%, but pcx jones offered him only 25% less instead of 50% to his principal ammount and with 1months AWR to his new replaced item. If @yugi not availing the way they offer the defective item will be pull-out without any payment since it was still under warranty.

    So decide if pcx jones was fair....
