like, who uses the computer anyways? people who only chat? people who view their friendster daily? people who game on their lame korean MMO? people who do their accounting jobs? businessmen? how about people who use the computer for programming? hacking? this is where linux backs up what xp cant do for programmers(or hackers, i just cant think of any other example of using linux).
so lets put it straight: Windows = good for internet centric users. Linux = programmers or hackers(even though most of the programming is done in Windows, Linux does it better)
/thread: im using BackTrack(for hacking) while I use Fedora 9 for programming anyways.

Windows - for the normal people
Linux - for hardcore die hard eccentric unrestricted nerdy geniuses like us... no limits
"In a world without "walls", who needs Windows?"
-Linux
@ix-888
haha.. I'm doing great.. Thanks for asking...
@sagoy
There are tons of options and commands that are not present in Windows. And besides, Linux is more native to computer programming and data structures. Windows is more of childish animation.
In a world without walls or fences, who needs Windows or Gates?
Btw, do you heard about Bayanihan Linux?
