The Catholic Church existed on Pentecost. It's first temporal head was Peter. All of the fundamental insitutions of the catholic Church existed in Apostolic times, and were not merely added in after 200 years. These included the Papacy, priesthood, local councils, bishops, the Mass, etc. And it was the catholic Church that put together the Bible, preserved it, translated it, and even got around to printing the firstr ones! Read your history.
Except for the last part you are right. Catholic church
NOT Roman Catholic Church.
Same Church. The term "Roman Catholic Church" was coined mainly by the
Anglicans. The Church refers to itself as the Catholic Church. And it's the oroginal Church Christ founded. So far you have jot been able to even cite when and where the "break" occurred. That's not suprrising because no such break ever occurred. If you disagree, then I
challenge you to prove it. So far you have failed to do so.
Zec. 4: 14, Rev. 11: 6 (Two Testaments will even be witheld by Rome, persecuted and killed in the days of tribulation symbolized by 3 and 1/2 or 42 months as in Elijah's time James 5: 17, Luke 5: 25 )To better understand the anointing, 1 Jn 2: 27 and 1 Pet. 3: 15, 2 Pet. 1: 19
Now that's a fanciful PERSONAL INTERPRETATION! And it's a lie. There's nothing in those verses that states that Christians should compile a single book and base their entire faith on it. You're grasping at straws!
Here are the verses, just so people will see that you're peddling lies. These verses in no way support your silly interpretation.
Zec. 4:14
He said, "These are the two anointed 2 who
stand by the LORD of the whole earth."
James 5:17
Elijah was a human being like us; yet he prayed
earnestly that it might not rain, and for three years and six
months it did not rain upon the land.
Luke 5:25
He stood up immediately before them, picked
up what he had been lying on, and went home, glorifying
God.
1 Jn. 2:27
As for you, the anointing that you received
from him remains in you, so that you do not need anyone
to teach you. But his anointing teaches you about everything
and is true and not false; just as it taught you, remain in him.
1 Pet. 3:15
but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always
be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a
reason for your hope,
2 Pet. 1:19
Moreover, we possess the prophetic message that is
altogether reliable. You will do well to be attentive to it, as to a
lamp shining in a dark place, until day dawns and the morning star
rises in your hearts.
Now does anyone see anything in these verses that commands we should compile a single book and make it the one and only basis for our faith?
None eh? I thought so.
Biddle, you are lying outright or engaging in the most absurd twisting of Scriopture I have ever encounterd. What garbage!
