It's normal to feel this way, especially when you had a previous relationship that lasted a really long time. But you tell yourself that the next time around will be more worth it and more fulfilling..

I'd rather give it all I've got (but leave something for myself.. like SELF-RESPECT) to the one who I think is worth it rather than regret because I let the one slip away.. or something like that.
