this is enlightening... I have an h1b petition and is set to leave before this year ends. A lot of my friends told me that it really is not a paradise working overseas. One said that the first month was really HELL for her that she even thought of taking the next plane out. What pushed her to hang tough and persevere was her desire to help her family out.

Well, I'm hoping my transition won't be as tough since I'm gonna start out in a small state... Kinda country state actually...hehehe. And my colleagues are filipinos, so Im really praying that all will be well.

True ni...hehehehe!!! lesson for every1 and each of our families na, all of us here are working our skinny asses off to earn every single penny placed in our pockets. ang work dri ky di pareho sa ato na sau buntag maka-pang lipstick ug tabi pa then nig alas 10 mag snacks then lunch na daun then snacks na sad hantud ting pa-uli nalang....simple and relax kau diha! the moment abot ka sa workplace u r expected to perform the best u can by ur employer

so, it does not mean na katong ni abot ug amerika/abroad na nadawo na hinuon instead look at this way, we became wiser and learn to be frugal.
