Aligri kaayo paminawun ang mga ipangalan anang taga manalili sa ilang baligya hehe. Yeah i happen to know about what you have just bought as a matter of fact, that pacticular species will be posted on our next ACE ( FOPAL ). Its actually called a halfbeak and the one that you've just obtained is called the long-bellied or the Silver halfbeak. They got that name since thier beak-like mouths are not equal in size the upper jaw is shorter than the lower jaw, there are various species of halfbeaks we have a few of them that are native to the philippines. halfbeaks are brackish dwellers but they can live well in a freshwater aquarium, they are skilled jumpers and they eat small live foods and some floating pellets. Its a good thing that you bought it in manalili, because the ones that are being sold at whitegold have fin rots, asawa to ni ronald imung napalitan. I have six of it at home. hehehe
I will give more elaborative information about half beaks on my next post......

I will continue posting for ACE. I have also heard about mindanao rasbora, but the ones being posted in google images is more of a scissortail, hopefully someday we can identify what it really looked like.
hehehe gi hilantan gud hinugas sa garden soil.hahaha
ah ok.. as long as you get the mud and fine soil out of it as much as you can..too much of everything is bad, so, careful if it has much nutrients..it may lead to algae bloom.
pasensya na bro, busy kaayo ko this past few days.. daghan panghitabo nga shocking.. pasensya.
Generals is correct, riversand.. you could get it ni eskeryon, try to PM him.
DIY CO2: DIY CO2 System for Planted Aquarium
my concoction:
1/2 kilo brown sugar (Panda brand)
1/2 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
700 to 800ml water on a 1.5 liter (coke bottle)
dissolve sugar first on a 400 to 500ml water...you could use hot water to dissolve it but MAKE SURE you let it cool first before adding the active dry yeast.
dissolved active yeast on water(just enough water to dissolve the yeast), do not use hot water.
Then combine the water with sugar, and dissolved yeast...add tap water to make it up to 700ml or so.. this would have an output in about 30 minutes to an hour.
