1 hectare = 10 x 10 kilometers.
Say, a coconut is planted every 10 meters in 1 hectare, that would give us 10,000 coconut trees per hectare.
According to a report I read, there are about 4 million hectares in the Philippines that grow coconuts. Now, multiply 10,000 trees with 4 million = 40 billion coconut trees in the Philippines.
Now I checked the average height of the Philippine coconut tree (Cocos Nucifera) and it's 40 meters.
Now that's 40 meters x 40,000,000,000 = 1,600,000,000,000 or 1.6 trillion meters, or 1.6 billion kilometers.
And what great coincidence, because right now, the planet Saturn (on it's current position on it's own orbit, relative to earth's orbit around the solar system) is exactly 1,535,921,331.29 KM from us. (Checked with Starry Night Pro software).
So, in short, if you get all the lubi in the Philippines and connect the ends together to form a tall pole, that pole will reach the planet Saturn.
Not bad for a "Lubi Pilot" eh?
