And you misinterpreted me. When I say move on with your life, I meant just that ... don't dwell on it. Don't wonder if you did anything wrong at all. Take things as face value so you do not "misinterpret" said things. In your fear that your intentions might be misinterpreted, you have misinterpreted a simple response that should be taken at face value and didn't contain anything else other than that.
Let me explain further. You were not given an infraction, hence you didn't do anything that might have violated the rules. If the post or thread was deleted because you did something wrong, you would have been given an infraction ... but you don't have any infractions. It was probably merged or the gremlins might have had something to do with it. In any case, there is no reason to dwell on it. If you think that it was due to gremlins in the system, then feel free to post the thread again.
