when a processor goes bad but operational u will see TRAP error messages displayed right after the video bios display...naa na self diagnostics ang processor itself sa iyang mga registers...otherwise mamatay na gani na wala na gyud activity sa imong system except mo tuyok lang ang fan...the most possible cause ana imo problems sa imo pc is imong mobo...how hot is your Northbridge? kung mahikap ra sya during normal operation then good...if its too hot to touch then it probable going to helltry to touch the capacitors in the PWM area...kung init kaayo then dako kaayo possibility that the voltage it is receiving is not right bec. your NB is going haywire...hope this helps...
Ok! Thanks kaayo bro it helps..I may now have a good reason why I am going to replace my mobo now and get a branded PSU too. So dili nalang ko mo pasangil sa processor.
If memory bro dili ba mo exist man jud permi ang problema? then how come sa ka bag-o sa mobo ma guba...do u have any idea?
Now finally proceed the isolation sa motherboard and memory for testing.
btw, what do you mean by this?
try to touch the capacitors in the PWM area...kung init kaayo then dako kaayo possibility that the voltage it is receiving is not right bec. your NB is going haywire..
NB? haywire? which capacitor specifically?
Thanks...
"If memory bro dili ba mo exist man jud permi ang problema? then how come sa ka bag-o sa mobo ma guba...do u have any idea?"
yes kung naa problem imong rams mo manifest gyud na sya...try to test it sa lain pc kung one stick ra na imong ram...kung 2 or more then tagsa2x test until u find the problematic stick...there are motherboards nga gitawag na sila as marginal...most of them fail bisan bag-o pa...especially kung naa problem sa handling...naa pa gyuy uban nga DOA na...fallouts in the manufacturing process...motherboards are NOT 100% tested didto sa factory...sampling lang na but each motherboards are tested at specific test points niya then mo indicate patay ba or buhi...but 100% working walai indicator...
"NB? haywire? which capacitor specifically?"
kanang nag surround sa imong processor area...basically kanang luyo sa imong I/O connectors(keyboard/mouse etc.)...
by the way...natarong na ug butang imong HSF? maayo ra ang contact sa processor...try to look at the back kung ang mga pegs or legs(sa case as lga775) sa hsf naa ang kanang locking pin nigawas(in between na sya sa kanang white btaw nga mo buka)
Thanks bro..i will...
so far mo 3-4 days na wala na ni balik ang prob since I made something change sa bios making the IGP into primary graphics adapter coz before it was set to default to PCIE. I think naa sad punto if i set into IGP coz I am using the onboard.
Btw, I am using 1 stick of ram for 2 days na wala pa ko nakita na prob pero ni shutdown cya pag test nako sa CPU using everest stability test ug sa some other cpu stability test and using that 2 testers it 2x shutdown.
What do u think is the cause? overheated CPU? i am using now a good cooler with 46-47 when loaded.
processors have a thermal monitoring diode nga mo shutdown sya kung overheated na...try kuno check sa imong bios(PC Health section man tingali na) wala ba ka Shutdown Temp naka define...unsa cooler imong gamit?
G-Power Lite from Gigabyte. IF mag burn test rako pero dili sad tanan panahon mag burntest ko mo shutdown cya 2x ra.
You think whts the cause? Overheat? I know naa na cya sensored pero makita bana nimo ang logs? sa shutdown? or sa bios?
I concluded sad to say the motherboard is the problem! I will have to replace this. Thanks
