If you have a great location, go for it. Here are some advice you might want to digest.

Hardware: Go for a 20-22k computer set, most important: it has a 17" LCD monitor <-with the LCD monitor, you can have a rate of P15 per hour. But if the budget is not that good, a cheaper CPU, but still with a 17"LCD monitor, you can sell the cheap CPU unit later if you want to upgrade. 17"LCD = P15 rate. Gaming units must have 1gig minimum ram, 160gig hdd, 512mb video, Processor... hmm.. go for amd.

Software: If the hardware is good, then you can install more games. The usuall windows home, openoffice, chatting programs, AVG antivirus, and the games. Updated games, pm me if need help on this.

Internet Connection: Go for a 10+ PLDT connection, if you can afford it, it goes with a free Computer, you can use this computer as a server. On Speedtest, 2.5k to 3k download, 100-500 upload.

Internet VS Gamers: If your area has an Internet Cafe killer Cafe. The mad one's that has a P5 per hour. Go for the Cheaper unit but with the LCD monitor. Focus yourself on internet users. A4tech webcam, and headsets. Keep it clean, no standbys, make your place classy. Xerox and printing is the key on internet users based i-cafe. Xerox / printer = kyocera, has a counter so you can check on your printing.
Colored printer, continuous ink. Gamers = loudmouths, whinners... especially if you have a poor computer unit.

    ......
Just pm me if you want more advice... I need to go home now, father mode....

I'm just your regular technician. But with the cafe I am working right now, Only 36 units, has an income of a minimum 5k, weekend and holidays 7-10k. Remember, that is only 36 units. I wont tell you the location... There are a lot of mad men in here. No need for me to worry, we are currently expanding.. making it more likely 50 units by the end of the month.

With good technicians, every thing is possible.

Another thing, most important, if you have vices (like gambling) don't even start this business.
Family business, remember, business is business, no freebies.

    That's all for now,

    Zergling
