"hacking" does not only mean exploitation.

And you cannot "hacked"/"cracked" something without enough to advance knowledge.
Scripts and "lame programs" are for "old" school hacking.
    New tchnologies needs new approaches.

    Get this knowledge first:

OMG.. dude.. hacking means having an access without permission.. a programmer programs software to use and make complicated codes more user friendly.. a programmer is a career... a hacker is an underground person who seeks information that is unauthorized to public access.. you don't need to know Memory Segmentation and understanding of x86 processors and assembly language and etc and etc.. just don't get caught while doin' what you do illegally.. thats what hacking is.. coz it is illegal.. i know programmers who don't know how to hack man.. and i know hackers don't know how to program..

lol cebugdev is right. markykoi, maybe you are referring to those lamers kanang magpa feeling hacker. you basically need to know how the system goes before you can hack it. if dili sila kahibalo mo program how can they hack the system? gets? pasabot siguro nimo kanang mag install ug keylogger sa pc? mao na hack sa inyo? well, sorry to disappoint you but di jud na mao

@kungfupanda dude, i know the system.. cguro wa nimo nabasa akong previous post ani na thread.. you dun need to master or be a hardcore programmer in order to hack.. basic gane.. lamers and kiddies are different to hackers na akong ginapasabot.. mao gane you need to read inorder to learn.. hack inorder to learn more.. programmers have diff fields.. dli ka basta2x maka excel ana sa tanan languages.. reverse engineering na inyong ginapasabot kung program hacking na.. ang keylogging is considered as hacking.. everything basta makagain lang access into someone's account is hacking.. im not disappoint coz i know sakto ko..

You are quiet wrong about what hacker means...

"Hacker" is a term used to describe different types of computer experts. The media and the general populace typically use the term to mean "computer criminal"; however, in many computer subcultures it simply means "clever programmer", with no connotation of computer security skill. It is also sometimes extended to mean any kind of expert, especially one who has particularly detailed knowledge or cleverly circumvents limits.

    1. A person who enjoys exploring the details of programmable systems and how to stretch their capabilities, as opposed to most users, who prefer to learn only the minimum necessary. RFC1392, the Internet Users' Glossary, usefully amplifies this as: A person who delights in having an intimate understanding of the internal workings of a system, computers and computer networks in particular.

    2. One who programs enthusiastically (even obsessively) or who enjoys programming rather than just theorizing about programming.

    3. A person capable of appreciating hack value.

    4. A person who is good at programming quickly.

    5. An expert at a particular program, or one who frequently does work using it or on it; as in ‘a Unix hacker’. (Definitions 1 through 5 are correlated, and people who fit them congregate.)

    6. An expert or enthusiast of any kind. One might be an astronomy hacker, for example.

    7. One who enjoys the intellectual challenge of creatively overcoming or circumventing limitations.

    8. [deprecated] A malicious meddler who tries to discover sensitive information by poking around. Hence password hacker, network hacker. The correct term for this sense is cracker.

    what are hackers

    looooooool markykoy is correct.

although being a programmer is partly correct.

Social engineering is a nontechnical method of breaking into a system or network. use google for more info.

you don't have to be a programmer to use Social Engineering

softtouch is right, bad hackers are known as CRACKERS

    @TS

i think there are no hacking training websites, but there is tutorial (videos, ebooks, ect.) and forums.
how good is your knowledge in TCP/IP ,windows and linux operating systems?

I also think you wont be able to learn anything about hacking via a website.
Hacking involves creativity, ability to solve problems, not copying ideas of other people.
If you are not a good programmer, you wont be a good hacker at all.
