Google bought YouTube. They did not merge.
The founders of Google are richer. It isn't very hard to search GOOGLE to find out how much the founders are worth. Plus there are two Google founders ... both of whom are one of the richest people in the world.

Yahoo has been losing money for a while now - stock prices are actually pretty low compared to how they were when Google wasn't around. I wouldn't be surprised if Yahoo gets swallowed and taken over by a bigger company pretty soon.
Yahoo share price is currently at $19.42 - Google is at $490

How'd you figure that Yahoo owners are richer when they didn't even hit the billion mark? While both Google Boys are in the Forbes top 50 World's Richest??

Google has over 20,000 employees on their payroll compared to Yahoos 13,000 employees
