hmmm..talking about logos, have you heard from inkinian and playlife?
hopefully naa sila balik..i really need their help on the forum. It is actually up already but layout palang, headers and banners needs to be changed pa. If someone finds it, please DO NOT register yet. It is still on the works.
I apologize nga dugay nahuman ang forum, I have zero experience of being an administrator and also doing layouts. I am still asking professional help from my younger brother leostargolem and brother-in-law.
Again, I apologize for the delay.
here are my pics
im using a gex 9 liter nano tank 13 watts light
i dont know what kind of substrate gi palit lang nako ang substrate sa whitegold hehehe
i used florena nga fertilizer
water change 25% 2 times a week
just used riccia and pearlweed
im hesitant to use diy co2 kay messy kaayo
hope you can suggest to improve my setup
im new to aquascaping pero eager to learn hehehe
salamat mga bossing
basig ma kalimtan nako thanks again sir markykoi
kabalo mag post ug pics hehehe
Paytera! very sleek planted tank. Refreshing to look at. Well done bro. Nindot kaayo, greeeen.
Just a suggestion though, on your next waterchange, try to trim your riccia to your desired shapes. murag gardening ba.hehehe
If you have moss, try to fuse or tie them both on the rock or wood so that riccia can hold on to the moss and you will have less time pruning them.
way sapayan bro.. tawaga lang ko ug "mangaon na" aw..hehehe bitaw, just call me mark or koi. salamat pud.
naa ko pangutana, naa ko tanom sa akong aquarium wala ko kahibalo unsa ni. it looked like a vine kay nikatay man sya sa driftwood instead sa substrate. mura ug heart iyang leaves, kanang sa ube, iyang color medyo pula sya. it looked like mura sya tuber type. unsa ni?
unfortunately, wala pako kakuha ug pics. hehehehe. ang camera nako guba man gud.
This is a very nice perciforme species, I've had 2 adults of this Mono way back in 2006 one died when there was a power outage and the second one died out because it was bullied by my african cichlids. I recently obtained 2 specimens from Edgar's place and hopefully they will last longer. The good thing about Mono sebaes is they can permanently acclimatize in a not so brackish and sometimes freshwater aquarium. That is why we often see them in pet stores than the other species.
COMMON NAME:
African Moony, Malaysian angelfish, Mono sebae and Rich man's angelfish
MAGALLANES/ MANALILI NAME:
Mono angelgfish
LOCAL NAMES:
Bayang, Ilak, Muray-buray, Pampano and Sampirot
SCIENTIFIC NAME:
Monodactylus sebae
This is the Mono Argentus, i got to keep one juvinile that was given to me by a vendor from manalili, but unfortunately, it died two days after i got it, probably due to improper handling and/or osmotic shock since the vendor mixed it with the feeder fish that he is selling. This is also a very nice perciforme, but it requires diffrerent SGRs as it matures, so you will really need to take into account the raising of the salinity of the tank water as it grows. Some hobbiest said that a perfect hobbiest for this specimen are those who have a marine tank, because unlike the mono sebaes, you will need to place the mono argentus in a marine tank when it reaches it maximum size otherwise it will not be very happy and may as well die. This Mono has a more elaborative yellow coloration on its fins.
COMMON NAME:
Silver Moony and Mono argentus
MAGALLANES/ MANALILI NAME:
None
LOCAL NAMES:
Bayang, Ilak, Muray-buray, Pampano and Sampirot
SCIENTIFIC NAME:
Monodactylus argenteus
The information below applies to both species
ORIGIN: Southeast Asian countries, The Philippines, Australia, Canary Islands and Senegal to Angola.
DIET: Livefoods that fit in its mouth, thawed fish/srimp meat, FDs and All standard fish foods
NOTES:
Monos have a fin-nipping behaviour and may sometimes be aggressive towards its own kind. Just like other Brackish dwelling perciformes, they have no known sexual differences and are hermaproditic. They will not breed in captivity.
IDENTIFICATION:
Personally, i have come across with only two mono species the M. sebae and the M. argentus, but some textbooks and references have information of two more species its the M. falciformis ( full moony) and the M. kottelati.
