and like whats your point of posting the relevance of this? are these people represented the cross section of market who are after urban living in style? i come from the state capital city of aus and we are enjoying windfall of property boom spreading out to suburban cities. and these included continued med to highrise apartments developments. if there are losers who are not happy with their investments, the general market were happy and they continued to stimulate property boom.

by you indication, cdo city is not ready for the kind of industry. it will have to go to the direction of horizontal development. it is still a small city by pop standards of philippines cities. or maybe medium size

As I said, condo/apartment living is not "living in style". read my post again.
High Rise developers are "always" the winners. High Rise Buyers/Investors are just riding the wave.
And developers have "really" good marketing departments.

I think CDO, MisOr, NorMin has plenty of space at the moment. The income from industries is significant and the population is not that big.

The tax contribution of Region 10/NorMin cannot be ignored. But it's the same scenario. NorMin generates a lot of income from industries. But NorMin gets little from the Manila Gov't. This has been like this since Phividec started and that was a long time ago.

And the fact is, Hanjin is making Phividec earn more. And if the Rail system goes ahead, then CIC will be earning more. Because Rail system is far more efficient than hundreds of trucks. In effect, keeping the NorMin Highway last longer.

To me, per capita indicator is far more important than how big the region is making. The higher the per capita, the better the living standard of the people. And when the living standard is higher, that would mean equal distribution of wealth and a happier people. No stingy employers who take advantage of cheap labor.

industries in CIC is like a process. one industry need a product from another, etc. That's how it works in CIC and Phividec in particular. At the moment, when an Iligan industry needs a particular product from a Phividec industry, they have to ship it by boat or trucks. If you live in Canberra (which you claimed you are from a capital city of OZ), you don't see much what a boat looked like because you are in the middle of NSW. You see a boat travels very slow. So it takes a while to get your product to say Iligan. Railway system solved that problem (I'm sure you've seen a cargo train in OZ), many passes through Canberra. Trucks maybe quicker than trains but the volume it can carry is way too small compared to trains.

industries in CIC is like a process. one industry need a product from another, etc. That's how it works in CIC and Phividec in particular. if you meant raw materials on manufacturing, i guess it needs a network of farm to market roads or something like that. and not a single rail line traversing straightway between iligan and cdo. bukidnon line should have been priority too for its pineapple,etc. we transport our product interstate by heavy cargo train for long trips to north and west. mainly cargo trailers to eastern states. the distance of transporting here cannot be compared to the whole stretch of iliga cdo. the cities are just too close by comparison

I believe you can understand our reaction, just emphatize kung buhaton na sa imo or sa imong lugar sigurado dili gyud ka mahimuot and would rather defend your right and clarify the facts from malicious intentions.

Im from CDO city, if i am given a chance to live either of the two, i rather chose CDO because its a small city and ive heard that Davao has a curfew which i dont like. Also, this Death Squad makes me so scared. What if im mistakenly pinpointed by someone that i am a drug pusher, tsugi ang labas ko nun, lol... That is my own opinion lang ha, im not picking an argument here, hehe... educate me here if im wrong.

do you think marketing would limit on mindanao market? if you speaking for cdo, the city is not davao which enjoying the industry boom at the moment.

marketing is like a game. you have to know the product before thinking of getting on it. like any game you know when its fair and when its not to you. if youre naive, find right people who could give good advise

OoT, So which capital city are you from? Are you from Perth? Been to Perth once. Went to Rottnest Island, it's nice. Didn't see any condo though

though pinapple is signicant, but that is very tiny compared to what Phividec is transporting. Phividec is not a single company. It's an Industrial Estate.

You still don't get why Rail system is very significant in CIC. I leave that to you to figure out.

the road system between bugo-bukidnon is not a problem at the moment. del-monte partly takes care of that.

I know a bit about the transport system in OZ. Road-Trains (towing 3 or 4 or 5, 18 wheeler trucks) is significant when no more roads. But 1km (or more) long trains is the king in transport.
