It was a very big adjustment for me, adopting western life, another cultures, food and way of living, daghan kaayo mausab. Pero, nabasahan nako some comments nga ok stay lang ta sa pinas, para dili ta ma himong slave sa uban, its true, pero abi ninyo para nako, kon stay sa pinas, ambot unsa ako life. ngita bitaw ko work, apply ko Mc Donald, apply ko jollibee, pero wala jud ko nila gidawat kay mubo daw ko. You see, life for me in Cebu, doens't work. I came to Vietnam with my hubby, i find a job as a Assistant to the Director. Maybe life works in some different ways. Maybe it doens't work me but does to anyone. And as a worker here, i meet a lot of filipinos, working as nannys and maids and housekeeper to western people even to a rich vietnamese people! And most of these filipino workers always complain that family back in pinas keep asking their salary to be send every month. Annoying no? I am sorry guys but most of these families back home hasn't got a single clue of what is life outside philippines. They think the word abroad meaning easy money...They don't give a monkey of how difficult it is to deal with locals and to abide their law especially i think in a communist country. I have a nanny here (to look for my 3 year old son), i imported her from Bohol and honestly i paid her well. It is not a peanut when you compared it in peso money. I paid everything for her from visa to one ticket one year, which is a very good package. But the same story - families, brothers and sisters and neighbours asking money. Kay ngano konong di man kahatag ug warta pati chocolate nga abroad man? You see??Wa nila huna hunaa pwerteng kayud sa akong naany dini. Maka sapot no? Para nako is nindot naa ka abroad (para ra pod na nako ha) kay dini man ko nakakita ug nindot nga trabaho. Pero dili sayon, tinood nga ang imong feeling is different compared naa jud ka pinas, especially naa duol ra ato mama ug papa. Pero anyway once in a while, mo uli lang, suroy ayala ug sm, lingaw na....

ako kay mohatag man ko sa mga relatives nako kay louy baya pod sila....share sa blessings pod ba, ingnon naman gani ko sa ako mga sis nga ngano manghatag pa man ko nga mga prof man sad sila sa pinas pero lahi man gud ang feeling kon maka share ka kay kahibaw baya ka sa standard sa sweldo sa pinas. ako bro gano hatagan nako every month, naunsa ba oi nga nangutang man ug component unya wa ka sugakod sa monthly ako maoy gipatiwas bayad, ok lng gapon nako.......ako nalang giingnan nga usa mo mangutang pahibaw-a ko daan aron i cash nalang nako kon kaya nako kay imagine pod na utang ma times 3 man ang price ana

Kinsa man ang mobayad sa $200? ang DHS (Dept of Homeland Security)? Somehow, it's hard to believe the DHS would shell out money for that.

bwahahaha... tinuod bitaw na. paet kau mag illegal ka diri. maglisud kag pangitag trabaho and on top of that, daghan mu sumbong nimo. gukdon pa gyud ka sa INS.

that's why i don't understand why some people would wanna force themselves to come to US without PAPERS. i mean come on, that's just outright STUPIDITY.

Mao sad ni kafaet kay dili jud ta ganahan muasenso atong isig kapwa-Pinoy. About 4years ago, i went to Japan for a training sa among company. When we went there, during mga suruy-suroy, ang usa jud sa nakafaet kay ang advise sa among mga co-trainees and bosses dito kay "ayaw salig dayon sa Pinoy kay kung wala gani kay papers, mao pay mag-unang sumbong nimo to authorities?
KAFAET! Anha man daw sila kakwarta.
