I agree with donski, use recovery console and CHKDSK. I encountered this problem a lot and that's what i did. And after restart its working fine.
If computer keeps on restarting after the windows screen logo, daku posibilidad BSOD na.
you need to press F8 during loading para makita nimo ang menu
Disable Automatic Restart when system Fail (di ko sure kung mao na exact work hehehe)
after ana, mo display ang BSOD, you need to check kung unsa ang system error
look for the STOP 0x000000**** asterisk is a ramdom system generated error
search sa support.microsoft.com para ma aware ka sa fix.
also you can go to SAFEMODE ang try to do a System Restore
just in case naay na download na Automatic Updates na naka cause sa ani nga problem.
Refomatting the HDD is the last resort. back-up all you data before doing so.
hope this help
f8 on boot>last known good configuration and cross your fingers. otherwise, format na lang - to much of a hassle jumping through all those hoops, if you ask me. also, if should reformat, make sure to partition your hard drive at to two partitions: one partition for the OS and the other for all the data, media, etc. that way, if you should reformat in the future, dili sakit sa buot.
