Yes. And it's not surprising. It's a very common phenomenon in these boards. It's called a case of "lack of proper understanding of and/or immersion in another culture which leads to outrageous and ridiculous conclusions on what could have been initially perceived as valid and true" I know this because sometimes, I am guilty of committing this error.

Well I could have posted this on the humor section but it is somehow a current event.

To those of you who don't know, the video was really nothing more than a spoof. It all started when Presidential candidate McCain recently ran a TV ad campaign calling Obama as nothing more than a celebrity with the likes of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. Paris' mom got offended by it.... then Paris herself agreed to make a mock campaign video with the help of Will Farrell. So there!
