Lebron, at this age, is better than BOTH of them. just wait till he get teammates to play with. wait till he starts LEARNING the game even more. remmy MJ? dropping 63 in Boston, scoring titles, winning those Slam Dunk competitions and simply being unstoppable ---- he didnt start winning championships until Pippen arrived. and until AFTER he got seriously injured with that foot. THAT is when these players start LEARNING the game, where they use their heads instead of their physical abilities. Kobe? same thing. He can't --- and will never --- win a championship w/out someone like Shaq with him. Lebrons all-around game is a few notches higher than MJ or Kobe when they were his age. it's kinda scary to think what he's gonna be capable of doing once he gets that one teammate and after his first serious injury.

in regards to Kobe being an icon? he is HATED as much as he is LOVED. and a lot of that has to do with his personality. nobody really hated MJ, and Lebron is in the same aura in this respect.
