Is your IP configured as dynamic? If so, then there's something wrong with the router... If the router is down then all PCs connected to the switch will also be down since no DHCP server can be found...

try dw pg.static ip address nya switch lng ang gamita if naa mo lan..duda nko gubaon na imo switch..imposible mka.among imo router sa imo lan unless ng.gamit ka sa dhcp na feature..

Try to ping ang private IP addresses sa ubang workstations nimo to verify the connections kung naa bay reply. Otherwise naa sa imong switch ang problem. Walay relation ang internet modem nimo sa imong local area network dapat.

Iya ISP is PLDT DSL, modem kay zykel and iya router kay Linksys BEFSR41.

so ing ani iya set-up bro. zyxel modem connected to Linksys Router. i will assume na wala na switch after ani, ur computers are connected thru the available ports by the router usually 4 ports.. kung ma wala ang internet din mawala pod ang local area connection so possible naa sa linksys na router ang problema basin guba ang hardware.. i try day ug connect ang isa ka pc sa modem kung maka internet ba, assuming na naka down ang imo connections both internet and local kung gamit ka sa router. kung maka internet ka dako kaayo ug chance na linksys ang guba.. try reset both hardwares kung down gihapon.
