well, the bottom Core i7 (2.66GHz) seems sweet enough for the price. this is actually good news because all the fastest procies today would drop their prices to make room for the new generation.

grabiha oi! a few years back the dual core was the in processor so I bought one... then came core2 duo. while I was still saving to upgrade my processor when core2 quad came along... now the i7. Maglibog man sad ta kung what processor to buy for upgrade basi next month naa na sad mas nindot or worse, prices will dip a few weeks after my upgrade.
