yup... could be a motivation to lessen crime, but it's not our right man gud to take away the convicted persons life. maybe let's apply nalang cguro the crude law nga kung unsa ang part sa body ang nakasala mao ratoy putlon ug ilabay sa kalayo.. if kawatan, putlan kamot, if rapist putlan ug kuan, etc. etc..

because of pornography and addiction mostly affected are the teens and as they grow they become more dangerous to the society...again it will dig to the roots cause "Parents"...child upbringing is very essential...although things like this is inevitable but certainly there are solution to minimize this crime...

what's so significant w/ just 6 rape cases more?

heck, 14 cases in 2006-2007 while 20 cases in 2007-2008? aw c'mon. mura mura ug average ra man na. that's a difference of only 6 cases in a population of more than 1M. and we have to incorporate here the factor of population growth...14 cases, say, in 1M population in 2006 is still more or less proportional to 20 cases in, say, 1.2M population now.

mas mahibulong pa unta ta kung mulapas ug kalit ug 50 from 14... These rape cases are just a very small percentage of the whole crime rate.

One factor it has increased a bit is that more and more rape victims are coming out in the open and not be ashamed by it.

if we rank the type of crime, theft cases are the number one on the list. Physical injuries is second.
