well, pang 3k nga budget murag adto ni sa 8600gt 512mb ddr3. di pud kaayo ko swito sa ati counterparts. mas familiar ko sa prices sa nvidia.

pero kananga 8600gt mura dili pa kaayo na reality ang grafix ana. 8800gt and above maoy du-ol du-ol sa reality nga grafix, with 2 or 3gig ram and a good processor.

to answer your question, most people think of graphics card having bigger memories = faster performance, DEAD WRONG. check the GPU (8500, 8600, 8800, 9600, etc.), the rams only comes in most of the time kung about lang sa screen size of the monitor.
