mga bro kinsa nag naka overclock ninyo ug AM2 x2 Black Edition 5000+? pilay maximum ninyo nga setting using a cheap zalman HSF nalimot man gudko unsay model ani. hehehe.. ako man na try ug push to 3.1GHz ok paman nuon. just wondering lang kung safe paba xa i push pa jud. by the way GA-MA78GM-S2H ako gamit na mobo

is it stable? have u run Orthos for about 1hr without error? my max OC is usually that speed that passed Orthos test for 5hrs without any errors....that is how i test kung ok ba akong OC system....

honesly i havent try running Orthos with it. i dont have much time to try it bcuz of so many things i got here to layout. but eversince i tried that wala man sad ko kasulay na ni crash ang system even though i open photoshop, illustrator, indesign, bridge, firefox plus some other software for 8 hours straight while working. i was using vista and i also enable all its eye candy features including dreamscene. but i know mura dili pa jud to klaro nga stress test unlike what Orthos and Everest do.
By the way naa koy nalibgan i wonder how t set up crossfirex. modetect man ako built-in the Video card ug ako xa gienable asta ang sorround view na option sa bios but inig check nako sa ATI cathalist kay dili man mugawas ang crossfire na function ug dili sad madetect but makita xa sa device manager. radeon 3600 128bit 512mb ang ako gpu then radeon 3200 up to 512mb shared ang ako built-in na gpu sa board.

correct me if i'm wrong but i think ang hybrid crossfire with the 780G is supported only sa 34xx series nga vidcard...

mao bha! 34xx ra d ina series pwede. atot oi! abi man nko pwede 36xx to higher. naa man gud ko nabasahan na review b4 about crossfire x lahi cguro to na board ila gigamit ato? tsktsktsk. by the master nakasulay ka pag push pag-ayo sa imo settings on ur oc'z amddd x2 kanang moabot ug mga 3.4 or something?

Would like to try my hand at OC'ing.

Q6600, IP35, 3gb Crucial Ballistics ram, Arctic Cooler, 550W power supply, not sure what my VCard is (cheap). Whats a good OC to aim for based on what i have?

Grabe jud mo sa OC sa! hehehe di man mo ma hadlok ma put into risk inyo PC, remember ma shortened ang life sa processor instead 5 years mahimo nalang ug half a year if ma diskwedo. Sa kainiton karon maski naa paka cooler, ang pag overclocked di jud advisable.

Suggest lang bro karon never nako mag overclocked lisod na wa raba tay ikapalit sunod! sakit sa bulsa if maguba lang sa atong gus2.

overclock if you badly need that specific speed without putting out extra money, pero if for office and internet use lang with minor games, i think its not practical..

Yup thats good advice. I'm almost reaching my limits running at stock speed on the Q6600 for the application i'm using. So if i had to OC (nothing over the top), what's a good # to shoot for, based sa setup nako?

Again good advice, and thanks. But what if i need just a little more cpu speed to be able to work without any glitches? Software is Steinburg Cubase by the way.
