i still beg to differ.. i'm 97% self taught.. however, i just started to learn reading notes 1 year ago.. i'm not there yet but i can read basic stuff.. it's very hard to learn to read music if you don't have the patience to start all over again..

i know that a teacher is very important but it doesn't mean that u can't learn without one.. i still believe that one can learn even by just surfing youtube..

However, the most important thing that a person can possess is the willingness and the drive to learn... I took piano and voice lessons once but i never improved because i wasn't really that interested..

Nia pa usa.. This is the drummer Gil Sharone (Dillinger Escape Plan, +44, as well as blink substitute for Travis Barker) doing a reggae-ska drum pattern medley.. The patterns that he's doing are basically the most common patterns in reggae and ska.. Although mas complicated gamay iya gibuhat, the basic patterns like "one drop" or the "four on the floor" reggae patterns are present..
