Same *** is not good I GUESS. Though I have nothing against these people, I just don't agree same *** marriage.

Mas nindot baya if dili sa ka minyo kay para daghan ka papa ahahaha.

Bitaw, look at married straight men. Adto sila tago-tago to make love sa ila number 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 etc kay hadlok man sila sakpan sa ila number 1. So if dili ka minyo much better kay you don't have to hide. Make love there and everywhere. Just my opinion hehe.

Same *** marriage- a BIG NO.

Dili man tingali jud necessary nga marriage jud, pwede naman tingali nga murag domestic partnership lang ba. Just in case nga kung maaksidente ang imong partner, pwede ka makaclaim (especially kung foreigner imong partner or wala nay relatives diri sa phils.) or sa properties sa isig partner, naay right ang usag usa, mura pud ug conjugal property ba.

I'm not against gays and lesbians, but I don't think nga mapush through jud ning gay marriage diri sa atoa kay hapit tanan nga nangahitabo nato diri manghilabot man ang church.

Are there really people who are protesting against this NOW? Am not surprised they're against gay marriage, am just wondering why people are protesting on something that no one is considering of legalizing?

There are numerous issues to bring up with the Catholic church. Currently, am in support of birth control. If the Vatican will have some kind of reform, I would rather have issues regarding birth control tackled first. And I would rather have married priests rather than gay marriages.

If this is the only thing on the ballot, I wouldn't bother going to a poll center at all. I would rather conserve gas than go to the polls. If there's something else on the ballot, I'll vote NO for gay marriage. It opens up a whole can of worms. I have nothing against them and I would certainly say NO to gay bashing. But why do gay people want to get married in the first place? For what? For monogamy? I don't think so... And I certainly will vote against gay adoption. While I see gay marriage as "victimless", I see gay adoption as somehow disadvantageous for a child. Weird to have two daddies or two mommies

Why are people comparing gay marriage with the Muslim prohibition on pork? In Saudi Arabia, you cannot buy pork. And according to the President of Iran, there are no homosexuals in his country of 70 million. And if you commit sodomy in Malaysia, you go to jail! So much for that kind of comparison...

this is a free world, so to speak.

i respect gays as human beings but i am against gay marriage, enough said.
...i agree to this, if u can't abide to the rules of the roman catholics then go find the religion that best suites ur interest and beliefs..

okay. if it's wrong, then what is right? do you think by being heterosexual, it already makes you right? i don't think so. if you can't respect us being homos, then give us one good reason why we (homosexuals) should respect you being heterosexuals?!!

just so because somebody has given out his opinions on this very "sensitive" issue automatically means he's a homo. we all have different points of view, just like people from different parts of the world have different religion. i'm a homo and a Catholic (and i do believe in God)...but has anyone here wondered why Adam and Eve were not condemned even practicing pre-marital *** (not just once, but several times).

Same *** marriage is too big a step right now. Gay people should first work on having our society accept them. Almost half of the forumers in this thread have a negative (even hostile) disposition towards gay people. Goes to show that they have a long way to go before they even think of getting hitched.

Like I said, I don't have a problem with gay people and I can't really blame those who don't care much for them. Maybe it's the upbringing or the fact that the Philippines is predominantly a Christian nation. I used to dislike gay people myself. That's until I found out a close relative of mine was gay. Then I asked myself "What if I had a son who turned out to be gay?". Will I let my prejudiced views get in the way of seeing him as a human being with the same rights as the next Tom, Dick and Harry?
