Parents, spouses and unmarried children under the age of 21 of U.S. citizens are considered "immediate relatives" for immigration purposes and do not have to wait for an immigrant visa number to become available once the visa petition filed for them is approved by the INS. Generally, an immigrant visa number will be immediately available for these immediate relatives of the U.S. citizen petitioner and they can proceed to the U.S. consulate for visa processing.

in your case dili pod ka ma apply sa other category that falls sa first to fourth preference, i guess the only viable option is for ur tiya to petition ur mom or dad as the case may be, then your parents to petition you which is a quite long process. mas dali pa kon you get a good course then apply for H1b category that takes a year or a couple of yers to wait.

in USCIS, an aunt and niece are generally not considered as immediately family. aunts can't file immigrant visa for her nieces or nephews no matter what. the only way you may be eligible for green card is you aunt petition your dad for green card under Brothers and Sisters of Adult Citizens (f4). after you dad gets his green card, he can petition you green card under Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Permanent Residents (F2b).
depending on your nationality, the process may take up to 25 years. In your case, no way gyod. K1 or K3 which means you hav to marry a us citizen or apply under a work based category.

karon rako kabasa ani, but i have a lot of nursing friends, and even nurses in the US now...
ako ra ni ha, but wa pa koy nadunggan sa usa ka nilarga nga niingon nga ganahan sila sa ilang gibuhat...kay truth is, dili man jud sayon.....pero sa kaalimuot diri sa Pinas, nindot cguro jud nang snow sa? hehehe..just kidding
i think lang sad, some schools are making it look like being a nurse in america is like sleeping on a bed of roses...
pero to some, it really is indeed an answer to some financial issues, nga dili matubag diri sa ato, kung anhi manarbaho...but its a matter of a personal choice..
muabot kaha sa punto nga wa na joy mahabilin nga nurse diri sa Cebu?
