The oil price hike, as well as the rise of the prices of other commodities, is something that we consumers has no total control of. So instead of ranting, pointing fingers and putting blame on others, we should all be more concerned about thinking and looking for another source of income to at least compensate for the ever increasing prices.
What most people do is just sit down, relax, and get contented with what they have without realizing that someday, that "enough" will no longer be enough.
Another source of income? No that's not what we need. What we need is an alternative energy source, not just for our vehicles, but for electricity generation as well. We will have to make use of cars that don't consume petrol.
We need to go to the root of the problem, and fix it, not just deal with the problems that result from it.
That everyone should use bikes is absurd. People who are used to being more comfortable, and travelling conveniently and quickly will not agree to this. Would all the mayors ride bikes? Hearing this from politicians seems hypocritical.
