Mas ok kung sa abroad ka na lang bumili. It is cheaper and ung specs nila mas updated kesa sa mga laptops na binibenta dito.
Pinadala ko nga ung laptop ko na 3gig ram, core 2 duo intel processors, at 8400gs nvidia video card for only 1000$ US. It is like 45k php. Ung 45k laptop dito sa pinas is 1 gig ram, low video card, at medyo average na processor yan.
So best advice is to buy there. Meron din naman kasi dun refurbished laptops o ung second hand at mas mura so its really affordable there.
As for the price, 2 laptops sa abroad = 1 laptop dito sa pinas ganyan ka mura ung laptops nila.
asa man gyud
Europe or new zealand?
You need to think about service for your laptop since you will be bringing it outside the country of purchase. An international warranty would then be a must. Asus has a pretty good following in Europe especially in Germany. For sure, I wouldn't buy a Neo. The chances of getting lemons are uncomfortably high for this brand. Where you will have one serviced? As to prices, computers are cheaper in Europe than in the States because of the strong euro, high taxes nothwidthstanding. The selection though is not that great. Not like in the States.
So all told, buy one in Europe. Now New Zealand, I am not familiar with. What I know is it sure as heck is not in Europe.
