salamat mga bro sa inyong mga suggestion
replace nalang ka hdd bro para ma try jud nimo asa ug y.
you probably want to do (bootcfg /rebuild) also if boot.ini is missing in drive c: since kasuway ko ntldr missing and boot.ini was missing also.
It will prompt 3 times.
* Prompt for the identified versions of Windows installed: Press Y for this
* Prompt to enter the load identifier: (Any name you would like i.e. Windows XP)
* Prompt to Enter OS load options: /fastdetect
Actually daghan man cause sa NTLDR is missing... posible na nag boot ka sa non-bootable source, wala natarong ug setup ang HD sa BIOS, corrupted and NTLDR or NTDETECT.COM na file, wala na configure ug tarung ang boot.ini file, corrupted boot sector, corrupted ang version sa imo OS, and lastly faulty imu HD cable...
But since naghisgot man ka na naka re-install ka ug OS balik, then our suspect is probably corrupted imo OS or naa corrupted boot sector imo HD... What u need to do, install ka ug OS na verified as good (maybe from a friend), select first ang repair kay basin corrupted jud to sa una nimo gi install... then if d japon maayo, ayaw lang sa pag install ug new... Try sa ug run chkdsk sa DOS para ma cover to ang mga bad sectors (if naa. which we suspect next) sa imo HD. After chkdsk, re-install OS pero repair lang sa... Now, naa ka chance na wala nato na failure...
But if naa japon, patay ta...![]()
the fix is:
use REcovery Console (either an xp installer with service packs or wla )
at the recovery console:
1. fixboot c:
2. fixmbr c:
3. if your boot.ini is missing or corrupted:
bootcfg /rebuild
this would take awhile depending on how many harddisk you have... the command will scan your drives for possible alive xp installations
it would then ask you to add what it found, type 'Y'
after it would ask you for a name just put "Windows XP Professional / Home
for the boot options, put /Fastdetect
then copy the ntldr and ntdetect.com from i386 folder of the XP cd,,
assuming youre on the root directory and e: as your cd-drive:
copy e:\i386\ntldr c:
copy e:\i386\ntdetect.com c:
reboot and you will have a booting XP again., when you got into windows, do disk checking and virus scanning.
and I recommend you to verify your harddrive's integrity by using manufacturer software to scan your drive.. example if you have seagate use seatools, and only that. believe me these tools help alot...
