by having a symbol in front of you...helping you to grasp a concept of God in your mind while praying

it's not idolatry...iba un...idolatry is worshipping another being

bro sorry if you think i had violated forum rules kung naa man do inform me. surprising lang kaayo ni si Mr Churchill (with due respect to him) kay ni react siya sa ako question for HELLblazer, im refering to page 1 of this thread, you can check bai sa akong previous post, if you think naa koy sayop...then my apologies but i guess i deserve to be informed.

Discussing what you believe is fine, but you went too far when you implied Hellblazer no longer has significance with his own life just because he doesn't believe what you believe. You don't even know him, for all you know he could be a good, moral person that just doesn't practice religion. Don't impose and don't judge, everyone is entitled to their own reasons why they converted to another religion or discard it. Just because you dont agree doesnt make them wrong or any less of a person than everyone else.

hmmmm....i was baptized in catholic...but wen i grew up...my m0m decided to change religion.. ni jehovah's na sya... but im back to cathloic nasad now na im married na....maybe complicated ra kau ang ilaha pagtuo ..but there are things na i find true sa ilaha religion huh....daghan...

Actually kon basahon gyod nimo ang bible daghan jod ka makita nga mga practices sa ubang church nga wala sa bible, problem is maski unsa paka nga sect bible jod na ato basis. Daghan man moingon, adto ta didto kay maayo didto kay naa tay kagawasan, di ta dinha kay bawal diha inom, sigarelyo ug sugal.......given all these bawals.....di ba mas maayo hinoon ni? Kon susihon nimo ang mga teaching sa born again x'tians wa man kay makita nga will make you bad. For instance kining graven images, i used to vow before them sauna, sa amo parokya b4, gikawat bitaw na.....kon imo hunahunaon, ako idol gikawat, meaning to say ni worship ka sa usa ka butang kay kon tawo pana kidnap man, the same na ka ana sa nag worship sa elepante , sa bitoon, botelya sa coke....etc. nganong di man hinoon ka mo worship anang dili jod makawat.

see how little you knew about your faith before? You actually believe in worshiping graven images. We Catholics are not taught to worship images. I guess ikaw ra cguro nadala ug worship ug images.
